It's a little less action and more story which is nice...although I think he could have replaced a lot of the footage we had already seen with some more new stuff..just my opinion...still looks gorgeous

I am severely disappointed. Very poor music choice. I love Muse, but Take a Bow sounded completely out of place in that trailer. I liked it much better when Rorschach didn't talk. Christian Bale's Batman voice should NOT be a template for other "gritty" superhero/vigilante's voices. I also have a feeling that Malin Ackerman isn't going to be much more than eye candy in this movie.

Still, some of the footage was amazing. I was impressed with The Comedian's death scene, and Patrick Wilson looks great as Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl. And I'm really hoping that the Dr. Manhattan stuff is as great as it looks (with some CG touch ups, of course).

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that Rorschach continually refers to his former teammates as "Watchmen" despite the fact that they were never called that in the book?

Now that was fan-f**king-tastic. Loved the Phillip Glass background music in the first part of the trailer.

While I've got one foot forever stuck in the cement of "This Book can never be translated into film!", I'm totally sold. This will be an experience!

If you look at Rorschach's word bubbles in the comics, they are all fuzzy around the outside. I imagined him to have a very deep, shaky Dark Knight-esque voice anyways.

Watchmen will be great, but not special.

It's a direct translation from the novel, until the ending which Snyder altered.

yeah srsly, rorshack is going to look dumb as shit with that voice when his mask is off. batmans voice is godamn ridiculous and distracting. the music in this trailer also blows. i liked the book, i will see this. but im not expecting to be amazed by anything.

Great i loved it being a buff of the novel i thought of the voices and ways of movment a little differently but all in all i loved it i also loved how at about 2:14 the crowd is burning a superman doll friken hillarious.

He's not going to have the same voice with his mask off. It's gonna be like Batman; he has that gruff voice when his mask is on and then his normal voice when it's not. That's what I'd assume, anyway, since the outline of his word bubbles in the novel are different when his mask is off.

The fake as shit gritty Dark Knight voice put me off. It was distracting in TDK, and if its going to be the same in this, well, then... that's a shame.

whatever - this movie is going to be beautiful.

Yeah, loved the trailer BUT the bad thing about knowing a song that is used in a trailer is that you can tell where they make really obvious cuts and splices, and that Muse song was cut at least 5 times in incredibly obvious ways. oh well, EPIC.

I am a little concerned about Rosarch's voice. Too Batman for me, but still looks very cool.

I hope its a good film but I just don't get the same buzz as watching the trailers to The Dark Knight!
