I think they may have just made up for that terribly photoshopped EW cover.

Kirk looks like Dexter, from the Showtime TV show... Same pose.
  • frank
still gay (and i dont mean in a homophobic way) so dont be scared of posting this
  • All the posters I've seen haven't given out the "WHOA! Holy shit...gotta see that!" factor. I haven't seen anything that makes me really excited for this....

    Terrible posters.
  • fanboy d
they're fine, but they're EXACTLY like the poster for bourne ultimatum
  • Dac
now, if they'd rip off The Dark Knight Posters, only with Kirk in front of the viewscreen looking out to a gorgeous space shot (instead of batman across gotham) i'll be very happy indeed.
  • SOLID
Kirk looks like a child molester.
  • I know that that is the Spock "look" and everything but it just looks bizarre when it's not from like, the 80s. It looks very bad-Halloween-costume.

And, as has been noted, the Kirk dude looks like Dexter or some weird teen movie heartthrob.

But whatever, it doesn't mean I won't see the movie... just that my whole year is not revolving around Star Trek.

kirk looks like a douchebaggy dexter. zachary quinto looks fucking awesome, as always. i think i have a man-crush.
  • Beefy
I think it's clear Kirk is going to touch Spock in an inappropriate way and Spock is frightened. (Vulcans don't show emotions)

This is still so much better than this piece of trash: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fortyseven/2946679...

I dislike these "stare down" posters though they do kind of make me laugh.

What's with the Kubrick pose from Kirk?
  • dlb
Kirk looks like he's down for some making out
  • Duncan
KIRK: Time to go where no man has gone before.

    SPOCK: *gulp*
