  • I think those people are ON heroine or something. I just don't understand why people are so obsessed with it. I mean I love the books and I have read them a few times. I thought the movie was ok, but I'm not gonna beat someone down over it, or make death threats as I have seen others on this site do. I think all the twitards need a psychiatric evaluation, because there is something seriously wrong with them.

My classmates are one of those Twitards like CrazyCat says. They have this group, Edward Syndrome, and they sell shirts and pins printed with stuffs taken from the book, like: "You're my personal brand of heroine...", "Smart men read Twilight... and take down notes...", and others like the title, apples, etc...

I'm not against it. I liked the book. But still, the way they react over Edward is... (you know what comes next)

It's like Edward is their personal brand of heroine... Haha!
  • I just realized part of my comment got cut of for what ever reason...

But as I was saying Melissa lol... I know what you mean. I don't understand why the Twitards are acting like that. They are an embarrassment to those in the twilight community that actually have a brain. I feel sorry for poor Rob. He just didn't know what he was getting himself into.

I know what you mean Melissa. I see it everywhere I go now too.

p.s. I do feel a bit of the Twilight overload, though. It's EVERYWHERE. Fans are rioting and trampling people wherever Robert Pattison goes, which is frankly embarrassing and stupid for Twilight fans. They have made ice cream flavors based on this book, games, t-shirts, sweatshirts, action figures, stickers, school supplies, the actors are on all the magazines, they are doing interviews left and right... Its impossible to keep up with all of it, so when I tried to stop watching it seemed everywhere I turned there was Twilight stuff! I think whoever is marketing for this movie is working on overtime the last few weeks!!

So excited for the movie... I have my tickets for Friday night and already have plans (no matter how good or bad the movie is) to see it with 2 other groups of friends after the opening weekend...

    I know I'm not alone!

Hopefully fans like me will make it some money!!

i loved the book and i want to see the movie...but i dont think my dad will allow me to...:(

@rad, actually I read an early script of the movie and it followed the book pretty well. A few things were changed of course and they beefed up the action a little. But like I said, it was an early script so it may be completely different.

i did read the whole series and loved it. it's about time for someone to step and create an interesting story. the only sad thing is that the movie doesn't look to be anywhere as good as the book itself, by not sticking with the story lines. i was hoping for once the movie and book could match, but i guess that's expecting too much.

Werent they just on the cover of EW a few weeks ago?
I am getting tired of hearing about this already.

    Book was not that good.

The effects are going to be laughable in the movie, but I think the performances will be good. I'm not expecting a classic but a little bit of fun. My worst fear is the hordes of screaming girls and if my daughter would let me I wouldn't mind skipping opening weekend, but that would be a serious no-go. She's still hoping I'll agree with a midnight showing, but I haven't made a decision yet...again...the blasted screaming girls factor.

i can't stand any more pics of that damn mongoloid vampire douche

Sadly, i do admit it, i did buy early tickets. Production looks cheep, but i can't help it.
I"ll close my eyes during the wire work/action scenes.

Everyone that loves the book will think this movie is awesome, even though its gonna be a really bad film, and it will still make a ton at the box office and on dvd
  • Troy
I didn't read the Harry Potter books and loved the first film, but the rest have been some what disapointing. I have not read any Twilight books and the movie doesn't look that good. It seems like a family channel movie.
  • emily
I already bought my midnight showing ticket. And I'll be picking up both versions of EW
  • AJ
Why do I get the feeling this isn't going to do as well as everyone thinks it will?

    And so it begins....
  • wow its a great idea to give wristbands to the first fans that will arrive first
