More Kick-Ass Set Photos

/Film reader Christopher M send over two new photos from the set of Matthew Vaughn’s Kick Ass. The photos feature our best glimpse yet at Aaron Johnson as Dave Lizewski aka the title character Kick-Ass, and our first real look at Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist.

    How about they finish releasing the actull comic series this movie is based on before they make the movie. The "Kick Ass" comic as been regularly delayed probably so the creater Mark Millar can consult on the film adaptation. FINISH THE BOOK FIRST MARK!!!

    Usually when a comic book is delayed, it's because of the artist. It's not too out of the question that John Romita Jr. wouldn't feel too obligated to pump out work; he's JR Jr., damnit.

    Also, the comic will come out eventually, and Millar knows where the story is going. Who cares if they're filming an adaptation concurrently?

    Romita Jr. just finished drawing a bunch of issues of Spider-Man, so he's been busy with that.

    all i can hope is that issue 5 comes out soon.

    Soon there are going to have to be spoiler alerts attached to these set photos as we'll be seeing more of the story than we've read yet in the comic. I mean the Red Mist isn't even in the book yet?
