The Children Movie Trailer

“You brought them into this world… Now… They will take you out!”

Tom Shankland’s new horror film The Children is about “a relaxing Christmas vacation turns into a terrifying fight for survival as the children begin to turn on their parents.” Not many films do the whole “evil children” thing right, but this one looks like it might actually be fun. The movie stars Rachel Shelley (Ghost Whisperer), Stephen Campbell Moore (The Bank Job), Eva Birthistle (Imagine Me & You), Eva Sayer, Jeremy Sheffield (Creep). Check out the trailer below and tell me what you think in the comments!

I’m not sure when this film will hit stateside, but it’s being released in the UK on on December 5th, 2008.

It's just not the same without Don LaFontaine...

Even though I find little kids creepy, this is laughable. Seriously, that chick that was getting her earring pulled out of her ear isn't strong enough to pick up the stupid rugrat and throw it into a lake?

This looks one part hilarious, one part I would never be comfortable around children again. And that eye is totally the alien's eye from ID4.

I have to give it to Vertigo Films they impressed me with "Outpost" so hopefully this one will be just as creepy.

“You brought them into this world… Now… They will take you out!”

Isn't that a Bill Cosby joke?
  • As a parent, I am now afraid of my 1 year old and 3 year old.

I love horror movies, as unrealistic as they can sometimes be, and can't wait to take my hubby to see this one!!

I DIDNT GET THE POINT OF THE MOVIE
  • Christopher
Anyone else think that this movie should be banned? I mean, it just reinforces the BS that children can be physically 'dangerous' to adults, when that is not the case in the slightest.
  • Christopher
No, it isn't 'good horror fun'. Even as someone who believes in free speech and free expression, there are some things that you just do not put out there because the stupid among us will use them as justifications to physically harm children.
This movie is one of them.
  • Sonia
yeah i didnt get the point either.. why did the childer try to get the baby out of her?! and the end.. god i wanna know what happens next..

What was up with the baby thing? I noticed they kept bringing up a baby somewere in the movie. Casey's tattoo, the baby doll bedded in the guy's gut and then the 2 little kids made a stick baby and put it in the same spot as Casey's tattoo and the baby doll. What was up with that??
