We can only pray to god that the guy making the rides directs Transformers 3 instead of Michael Bay. Maybe then it won't suck.

His major problem is there's not enough slow motion or explosions on this ride for his taste. Maybe someone should give him a call and let him know Transformers is a Hasbro property not a Michael Bay original concept you don't own it.

With that said it's somewhat refreshing to see that he's so attached to the franchise these occasional ego rants he goes on make me think he actually cares about these movies.

Prediction: Given that the story outline for BayFormers 2 was written by Mikey himself during the writers' strike - I predict this sequel will suck on a GARGANTUAN scale. It will make BayFormers 1 look like The Godfather.

But people will see it, because of the enduring popularity of the franchise - Michael Bay simply does not have it within himself to recognise this fact; he is as arrogant, egotistical, irritating and braindead a human being as there is on Planet Earth.

Roll on the proper series reboot in 20 years. It will happen.

Easy ride to conceptualize:
Give everyone that rides a free hard plastic "all spark" souvenir prior to getting on. Once you're on, you have a skirmish with some Decepticons, and Bumblee gets you of the jam. Then the ride goes on and you have the US military, Optimus and others duking it out through a city environment to protect your "convoy" as you make your way through tall buildings and explosions everywhere. You make it through unscathed and the ride is over. Seems pretty straightforward and in-line with Bays films.

Michael Bay shouldn't be allowed to say anything... Transformers isn't HIS thing, and more importantly, his concept of what Transformers is made the movie suck.

He has a right to be pissed off that they used his name and he didn't agree, but he has no right to claim any ownership of transformers. Unless he's the major share holder in Hasbro.

I love Michael Bay.

I love how he recycles the music in the movies, recycles shots of helicopters flying into the sunset, and aircraft carriers. Also, his racial stereotypes are spot on and his use of slow motion is AMAZING. Things look so much cooler in slo mo!!!!!

Bay should have just made his own movie about robots and left transformers out of it, or even used GoBots or something. I don't know of any true fan who would enjoy seeing the headline characters taking a back seat in their own movie to Shity LePoof, not to mention that they were turned into unrecognizable walking piles of rubbish. Except for Megan Fox and Peter Cullen, the whole movie was pants and anyone who loved this explosion fest probably also enjoys shiny shoes.

We need to let Michael Bay direct the new Ghostbusters, GI Joe or any other classic beloved series so that he can give them 20% screen time and star his own new, annoying characters that have nothing to do with anything. I will add no more money to this egomaniac's coffers. Like it not, today, Bay = Transformers = Fail.
