Looked rather lame, and angst ridden.

Kudos to Michael Bay for creating a Friday the 13th as bad or worse than the last six sequels. It's that kind of consistency that Hollywood needs.

I agree the 'exclusive' footage of Twilight shown at the Scream Awards was pretty much exactly what they showed at Comic Con i was so disapointed! Here i was eagerly awaiting some fantastic new scene...oh well

they do know that the first Friday the 13th didnt have Jason, as a matter of fact he didn't dawn the hockey mask till the third movie besides the Friday the 13th movies suck.

Yawn. Since when did Jason start to charge after people? I mean that would of made Jason VI a lot shorter of a movie (for the better) if he would of jst Derek Mears ran throughout the whole thing. This should of been just another installment and not a "remake."

Its so embarassing to say the least.

I hate when they say exclusive footage and then they show you something you've seen! The only new bit on that Twilight footage was the seeing the other 3 Cullens jump in to help with the rescue.
-rolls eyes- I still loathe the wire work, which is completely unnecessary.

I was never into Friday the 13th, but the footage looks alright. I don't have much faith the movie will be good, but it could have some fun scares.

HAHAHA that twilight stuff looked horrific. Looked like they attached all the actors to wires and told them to jump around a big room. lol so dumb

I'm surprised by the hate on the Friday trailer. I thought it looked pretty sick. Obviously not a remake of the original, but a reboot. The preview, at least, had some suspense, which really was lacking from every Friday after part IV. We'll see -- there hasn't been a good make-you-scared-of-being-in-the-woods movie since Blaire Witch.

Thankyoufor -- you did not just compare Twilight to Buffy. Twilight lacks so much that Buffy had to offer for people who care about interesting plots and characters with depth. And well, just in having a point overall. Buffy received Emmy noms and much critical acclaim. Twilight has ... well, let me quote the author of the series herself: "I'm not a writer." 'Nuff said. (Though, she follows that up with "I'm a storyteller." But eh, she's not that either.) But if you were simply referring to the effects? Eh, I think Buffy had it better even there. If they couldn't do something, then they didn't. Which is why Joss is taking full advantage with the comic now, allowing them to do things and go places that they couldn't with the low budget on the show.

Is it just me or did they skip Jason's entire mythology? Not that it was anything great, but really....

the least they could do is show his childhood and do a proper reimagining like rob zombie's halloween (which i definitely liked).
