Wow has encouraged many new/old trends to be more
multi-player online games...this will lead to good things in the star wars genre.

Cool...its probably a good 3-4 years away from going gold. I can only manage one game at a time (WAR). Too much video crack on the streets these days.

Anyone who has played KOTOR, knows how excellent this is.

KOTOR was imo the best Star Wars based game ever created.

Anyone who has played KOTOR can tell you this should have been a SP game and not a MMO.

You know what? This is going to suck major balls. The reason why the KotOR games have been so great is that you had an interesting party with you, full of colourful characters with history and personality. Your decisions made a change in the world you played in.

This can't work in an MMORPG.

This has bad idea written all over it. I love Star Wars and I love the games that have been produced for it... but another MMO? Are people so quick to forget Galaxies? I'll admit I've never seen the enjoyment of that genre of game... endless hours/days of killing the same things to gain a level or some item. I'm obviously not the targeted audience for this game, I just wish they would stop making them.

I like singleplayer games better, and monthly fees suck, not gonna touch it. I have played through the first 2 twice, so its to bad really

The best thing about KOTOR was its interesting storyline. That won't really work in an MMO.

I'm intrigued. I hope it's good and captures the spirit of the movies before lucas screwed them up.

I'm hella excited - I think a lot of the new ideas breaking into MMOs will make this game fantastic. SO LONG FOREVER, WORLD OF WARCRAFT.

I like the sound of this, however I still want a single-plater RPG KotOR game. Get onto it Obsidian/Bioware/whoever the hell is making these games now.

If it is handed off to Sony I wont bother with it. They have totally raped SWG and I stopped playing that altogether when NGE hit, but I stuck it out through the CU. JTL was alright and untouched since it released, so that parts still good I guess. I just don't bother with SOE games anymore seeing they like to change things to appeal to everyone new to the games it has available. Saw it with SWG, POTBS, Vanguard, and EQ 1 and 2. So, ya I don't bother buying anything Sony anymore, and yoy are better off avoiding them as well because they suck as a game company.

P.S. I had 8 SWG accounts; 3 Jedi, 2 merchant, 1 smuggler, and 2 BH accounts I used for lots and such. One of my Jedi was around number 14 or so to be unlocked on Eclipse server, and I got them to Rank 5 DJK before they did away with the ranking system. Also note they never brought it back after they promised us it would be brought back. So ya, Sony sucks and lies to even its monthly subscribers that pay monthly to play their awful games.
