right, to be fair, i for some reason love the resident evil films, although, they would be so so much better with another director, i think the films have alot of potential which is wasted by the rather bolux directing.

I like the RES EVIL flicks for exactly what they are, mindless zombie/action flicks... they're the cinematic equivalent of downing a giant Coke and a monster bucket of popcorn. Besides, any of the three are better than Romero's last two DEAD flicks.

I dont mind I actually liked the Resident Evil series. Just good old action fun.

Paul WS Anderson should seriously quit while hes er...not ahead? He is seriously the most worthless director to come out of Hollywood. I actually just watched a home video a retarded kid just made and it was better then anything that Anderson has ever done. Im sure the douche bag means well but give me a motherfucking break, who the fuck bases the first Resident Evil Movie off of the fucking books that maybe 50 people have read??? The original game was a perfect setting for a movie, but stupid fuck didnt realize that. I honestly hope that he reads this post and goes home and hangs himself with the roll of film from his latest piece of shit project. FUCK PWSA he is the abortion that got away!

I think Paul WS Anderson needs to stick to these types of movies. At least we know what we're getting and he's not trying to be Speilburg or anything.

The Resident Evil movies are brainless fun. I actually enjoyed the first one for what it was, and even the third one. On a B-movie, chick-beating-genetically-altered-zombie-ass level.

As long as Paul WS Anderson keeps churning out B-level schlock, I think I'll welcome another Resident Evil. Although, I don't know where he can go with that plot....Zombies...in Space?

I look forward to the next film. I really enjoyed the third one (though that could have been the hangover from seeing 30 Days of Night directly before it. Man that movie was amazing) and the idea of 40 or so Alice's walking around Tokyo kicking zombie and corporate Asian ass sounds awesome.

I really think the games are more movie-like than the actual movies themselves. Paul W.S. is so untalented when it comes to writing, it's not funny. I mean, he's okay as a director, but as long as he's writing his own scripts, he will stay in Suckland.

I guess I'm one of the only ppl who enjoy some of Paul W.S. Andersons work. Even Horizon was not bad the first MK movie was pretty good as well. I will say that sure he doesn't direct blockbusters but that doesn't mean he just stright out sucks.

I actually though Event Horizon was scary as fuck. However, Resident Evil: Extinction was not even "so bad it's good." The ending of that movie had some of the worst special effects and acting I've seen in a mainstream movie. Come to think of it, it worked quite well as a comedy.

more Milla = better (regardless of film).

the cgi movie already looks better than anything ws anderson has produced.

i love resident evil films more than the games. but i like the games movies are so better though. i hope paul makes at least a fourth film, and include what happended to jill and angie if he doesnt include i'll be pissed but i'll still see the film. please include what happended to them. show a flashback from alice showing what happend to jill and angie please or somthing.

I think the resident evil series are brilliant Re3 could of been abit better but was still a good i cant wait for Re4 the movie and it cant be any shiter then any of the last two of the dead films the Re series restored my faith back in good old fashion zombie horror films so paul keep up the good work

I don't know a lot of things about the Resident Evil. But I can say that 2nd had some of worst special effects I have seen ever. But 3rd already made it up for crappy 2nd and I'm ok with that. However, Anderson really need to clarify what has happened to Jill Valentine and Angie because it's been bothering too many people. Plus, I really hope he gives out at least the confirmation that the 4th is a go. Because everything I've heard from him sounds like he don't think he's able to do the 4th due to his skills or whatever. But he's married to Milla Jovovich and if someone replace him then I doubt Milla will reprise the 4th movie. Plus, please don't kill off Alices and make the storyline based on Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) because Milla has turned into hardwired into RE movies. And I love that. It shows our most deepest mercifully imaginations.

hey i think the resident evil series r superb! i really like thm..n i hpe there will be a fourth one soon! i can't wait! If there is a fourth one, i hpe that in the flm, all z alice kill z zombies or at least try to, as they are not as skilled as the real alice. but they all die 1 by 1.n real alice is left to herself with a zombie more powerful than z others..almost same strength as real alice...n a terrible fight between thm in the end..or else someone in resident evil 1,2, or 3 returns..like matt, for example!anyway, best of luck!

hey just think if matt came back..he doesn't die in num 2..he comes to alice...he helps her to fight..in the end, he is able to mutate back to a human...due to an antivirus...n in the end, he n alice together...wow!that would b a happy ending!n the world start again...with more powerful human beings..no zombies..
