Slumdog Millionaire on November 12th 2008

Fox Searchlight has decided to move Danny Boyle’s film festival sensation Slumdog Millionaire up another week. The film will now open on Wednesday, November 12th 2008, instead of the announced November 19th release date. The film was originally set to bow on November 28th. No official reason was given, but I’m going to assume that the changes were made to give Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler, Searchlight’s December release more breathing room.

i was goin to see the wrestler but it was sold out in just a few hours

I am very excited to see this movie. It's nice to see a film like this directed by a Western filmmaker, with all brown South Asian characters that have NOTHING to do with 9-11, terrorists, or Osama bin Laden!

I guess Fox Searchlight is trying to get two films to be nominated for best picture this year. I'm dying to see this and the Wrestler though.

Release it not near Repo! The genetic Opera or 007. IF they do I can't see it because both those weekends are booked for those films

When is the Original Soundtrack CD of Slumdog Millionaire releasing ???
I am eagerly waiting for that, and many of A.R.Rahman (music composer of this soundtrack) Fans are waiting as well (they are at least 1000 millions of them if you consider India's population and A.R.Rahman is India Number ONE music composer)
