Dead Snow Movie Trailer - A Norwegian Nazi Zombie Film

We just got sent a trailer for Norway’s first zombie film, Dead Snow (aka Død Snø). A group of eight friends drives to a cabin in northern Norway where German troops where slaughtered by angry locals living there in 1945. Now the undead zombie Nazi soldiers feast on whoever comes there way.

I speak danish, which is very similar to norwegian.
Here are my subtitles, or what I could derive from it:

Males voice: And the movie begins with…. (something I didn’t get) without any cell network reception.

Great premise, but makes me pine for World War Z. The book has the makings of such a great TV show, Lost-meets-”24″-meets-28 Days Later.

The mentions of Tarantino is quite ironic, as these guys became famous in Norway for producing a Kill Bill parody flick by themselves, with a North-Norwegian theme, Kill Bulljo. (probably not worth seeing if you aren’t Norwegian, and even then I didn’t think it was too funny.)

The old guy is a famous Norwegian actor, Bjørn Sundquist. He’s about the only though guy we have. :p

Oh, and they had to change the title from “Red Snow” to “Dead Snow” because of an old copyright issue.

Me and my friends are actually quite angry with this flick, because we have just made a movie with a similar plot. xD (see website)

Anyway. Nazis. Zombies. Norway. = SOLD. cant wait. should be a fun film to watch with friends and beer. although, I hope its more than that. but who are they kidding…anyway, nazis and zombies in one is already enough. This, is, awesome.

Check Zombie Lake…its about nazi zombies. Not a very good film but it exists. This actually looks pretty awesome

“Fan” is the/a Devil, commonly used as “fuck”.

And I’d correct the “subtitles to”:

“Many movies start with a bunch of people going camping without cell phone coverage”
“There’s someone there”
“Believe me when I say it…” “this …(?)… some evil, satans devils” (=really bad guys) ”
“What the…” (Lit.: What + Devil)
“Dig down in time” = “famous” thumb rule for skiers on the winter mountain; to dig down/take cover before the storm hits.
