It's about time their music came out...i'm a fan of their music, Good luck Axl. Hey Saber (buddy), are you thrilled?
  • Ugh, I'm sick of Colbert. I understand alot of people like him but this stuff that they're putting in with the comics is just painful. I've been a lifelong fan of Spidey until that idiot Quesada did the whole 'Brand New Day' retcon and I'm still waiting for it to be set right. The only reason I've been getting the recent Spidey issues is because my favorite Spiderman artist John Romita Jr. has been doing the 'New Ways to Die' story arc. Once that's over and Romita Jr.'s off Spidey I'm off of it too. Here's hoping Marvel will get their head back on straight and put things back to the way they were somehow, but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. Thankfully Romita Jr.'s drawing Kickass which I've been enjoying so far.

Damn that cake looks good! Can you eat the little TIE Fighters floating around it?

    Feuer,

You say all this like it's the first time Marvel has done it? Marvel are the kings of gimmicks in the comic world. If it isn't gloss metallic covers, it's glow-in-dark gatefolds. And celebrity tie-in's. This has been going on for decades, even before Quesada.

I do know one thing, I can't get enough of that re-re-re-re-re-re-production of that Spidey cover. I think it's a right of passage at Marvel to do some variant on it every year...
  • I agree Cap., seems like there's a redux of the Amazing Fantasy cover at least once a year. My favorite parody has been the Marvel Zombies one or the Deadpool one a few years ago. Though it's been going on for so many years, it'd be nice for Marvel to get back to some steady story arcs again. It's a bit of event-fatigue I'd say.
