Great song, crappy video. Alicia Keys' inclusion seems forced, but it is less jarring on repeated listenings. In all, the Bond franchise hasn't had a real stinker of a song (or movie) since the Timothy Dalton movies.

this is no where near cornell's you know my name, that song had the bond feel and it has way more build up in it, this song just sounds like a watered down white stripes song

Haha, it seems pretty much every one is torn on this one. I didn't think the theme was going to be so polarizing, to be honest. Everyone was going to think it was a middling affair (for a bond theme)? As a song there are some interesting parts but it's too over produced with no direction for me to throw it onto my iPod. Cornell's theme was a little easier to just listen to.

I await to see what is done with the song when the movie Solace hits. I might just have to change my mind.

I like Jack and Alicia. Didn't dig the song. At all. James Bond does not a film for an "alternative" audience, and I fear the song is just way outside the demo for the movie.

yeah exactly they don't film for and alternative audience, luckily this song will only be 4 minutes of opening credits. The movie will be awesome! the song is just gay and by not liking it doesn't mean you aren't being open to new music. its just not being open to crap, why would i force myself to say i like this song just because it is unusual. Honestly this song is a piece of crap, its so boring its a task to sit through.

I thought the video was good IF it wasn't for the Bond movie and since it is, I thought it was bad. The song itself sounds good but again when fitting it with Bond it just doesn't sync. But I did like it.

The song was starting to grow on me but that video was just wasted tape. What's cool about two musicians with no chemistry wandering around on a stage in front of a green screen? There was no drive or purpose to the video – just a bunch of spinning around with random lines and crap overlaid. Why watch that? I don't get it.

That was horrible. Bad song and bad video. Chris Cornell was WAY better. I hope Quantum of Solace isn't as bad as that was.

Jack and Alicia trip on each other. It's just not working. If there were minimal vocals and the two didn't wail through the obvious instrumental parts, it would (maybe) be okay.
