Still don't get the attraction of watching a trailer with Eli Roth talking over the entire thing. How can people who have never seen the trailer get what Roth sees when you can't actually view the trailer as he saw it. I personally barely paid attention to the trailer during the clip because it was halfway through the clip that I realized that they would not be showing the clip other than with the sound off with video of Roth being intercut into it.

    @ Rob

if you go to the Trailers From Hell website you can watch it without commentary.

Are you serious that you think the Ramones are terrible? I'd love to see what kind of garbage you listen to.

    the ramones are terrible.

they're the same 3 power chords over and over with the same 5 friggin' lines over and over.

my friend loves the ramones and he owns a bunch of ramones shirts that all look the same.

so yesterday he was wearing a "new" one and i asked

"how many ramones shirts do you own?"

    "4 i think"

"they all kinda look exactly the same"

"i own 3 of the same and this one's new!"

    "still looks the same"

    "...."

"wait, so you own a bunch of RAMONES shirts that look the same and feel the same, and they're just the SAME thing, but there's a lot of them? *smirks*"

    "......... shut up *walks away*"

Bah....you Ramones haters need to take a valued lesson in how much the world is better off knowing they scourged the rock scene when it was essentially dead.

Sure, we have heard the same crap 'they know 3 chords' and all that same old bluster....you know what chuckles....THEY DIDN'T NEED THEM. This is rock and roll stripped down to the bare essentials, no harmonics, no cheesy ballad backgrounds, no synth, no nothing. Ripsawed chords, speed lyrics, 3 minute songs, 45 minute sessions. It's essential rock and roll and you would do well to pay homage to the people that saved the world from disco and the Bay City Rollers.

Without the Ramones, punk would not have birthed The Clash, The Sex Pistols..The West Coast Scene would not have gone the way it was. Look up any band today and look at their influences, everyone from Henry Rollins to the Greenday to shit, name a band, and you will find The Ramones in their list.

Why? Because they boiled away the fluff and gave you the meat...and don't you forget it
