Transformers 2 - Behind the Scenes of Day One

I was on the road (or in the air) most of yesterday, so I never got around to posting this new behind the scenes video from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. First up is a video presented by Walmart, which shows Michael Bay explaining “Bay-haos” to the crew, before gearing up for the first day of shooting at the Bethlehem Steel Factory.

  • "can really help make alot of kids dreams around the world"

    oh please, spare me bay

no doubt bay will get ripped for this video, but i'm completely jealous that he gets to be a big kid for a living. he's having blast, and if you really know anything about filmmaking, you cannot deny the overall on-set knowledge this guy has. he could do almost every single job there is during filming, and some of that shit is not easy at all.

    @Tommy Tricker

Exactly what i thought and you could see all the crew and actors were thinking it.

Still going to be a good film though

Did you hear what he said? "I like to shoot fast." Man I know Shia got it when he returned.

Not gonna lie, this guy knows how to handle a crew and he knows his shit when it comes to cameras and lighting.

Directing Actors, tone, story, and script is a whole other thing.

    great video

Make a lot of kids dream? Michael Bay is so full of shit.

Military movie all over again. With these stupid unlikable military characters from the first one. Gosh, put these fuckers out and put more robot-action into it.

    It's a bay-hole making another bay-d movie.

I loved the military scenes from the first film. What they should have done was cut out the entire Shiat plot, then we would have had an interesting film! What they need to do for the second one is have Shiat get his head cut off in the first scene, for real, and then have some military on robot war action for the rest. But they won't and I will not see this shit movie anyway.

Wow. Blatant product placement even in the behind the scenes vid. Whore.

Kids Dreams meet the power of Bay-haos.

Dude, is that fat comb-over-guy with glasses stoned or what?

Isn't it so predictable that Bay would have a Nike ad in his behind the scenes footage which he sold to Wallmart....He is pretty much everything that is wrong with mainstream Hollywood...his films are entertaining but are annoying when there are massive ads for Xbox, Mountain Dew and other useless products he can whore out for...It's a little sad he can't make a film without corporate handouts...I started to really loath Bond films for that exact reason...it became reasoning to make a new movie just to sell ads for watches, cars and vodka...I'm not saying it has stopped with the new Bond films, but at least they're trying to come out with good scripts and actors..

I'm a big fan of some of the Bay films mostly Bad Boys 1-2.. The Island had a few great moments mostly rehashed from Bad Boys 2 though....I hope this new one is less talky and robot peek a boo...
I get the comic relief is from the cartoon but Bay doesn't do kid friendly comedy very well...with this new PG-13 rating seemingly pushing new limits I just hope he can deliver a more "action" oriented popcorn flick...

Yeah!! Awesome! Audi R8 is a sick car! I can't wait for this movie. I loved the first one. As realistic as giant robots are gonna get.
