New Photos: Quantum of Solace

Our friends at DVD-Forum has sent us a new batch of photos from Quantum of Solace.

More after the jump.

Official Plot Synopsis: Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (JUDI DENCH) interrogate Mr White (JESPER CHRISTENSEN) who reveals the organisation which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined.

Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (OLGA KURYLENKO), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (MATHIEU AMALRIC), a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organisation.

On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (JOAQUIN COSIO). Using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land.

In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plan and stop his organisation.

    sexy
  • I really can't wait for this film. If they can achieve the quality of Casino Royale will will be very happy indeed. The new direction that Bond has taken is where the Bond series started to begin with and to see it evolve again will be fascinating.

Yet again no Q nor Moneypenny, which in my opion makes it fall short of a real bond movie.. we'll see

The last one was pretty cool.

But as far as I'm concerned there is only one Bond, and that's Sean Connery.

(in scottish accent) The names Bond, James Bond... and I begin questioning my sexuality...

Sounds like I'll should see the film sober.
Also sounds cooler than the last story !!!!!

The plot sounds a lot more like Bond than Casino's. Hopefully that doesn't mean it won't be as good.

This is the first Bond film in years that really look forward to seeing...the trailer was great, anyway. Daniel Craig is one intense MoFo, as well.

I can't believe people still talk about Sean Connery. GET OVER IT!!! We're talking over 4 decades ago. Time has moved on. On that note, I can't believe Kevin Costner played Robin Hood. Everyone knows Errol Flynn was the real Robin Hood.

    @David E

Get over it. hahaha. Well said!

    David E,

I was never a fan of the original cheese-dick Bond films. It was the Craig films that brought me into liking Bond in the first place. They did away with all the stuff I disliked about the old films.

Can't wait for "The Something of Boris".

I'm gonna agree with David. Also, Casino Royale was Ian Flemming's first Bond novel, and didn't have Q or Moneypenny in it to all the nay-sayers. If you're gonna act like a Bond fan at least know what you're talking about. When you say the Craig movies aren't Bond films, you're extremely mistaken. Most of the Bond films that are your favorites weren't even based off of a Bond novel at all, and were written by some random team of writers, not Ian Flemming, the creator of the series back in the sixties. So if anything, the new bond films are more "Bond" then ever.

    Hey Bond,

    You've got red on you.

When I was a kid TNN would have a Bond marathon every year. My father would watch it every year so at a very young age I was exposed to the material. However, I could never, once sit through an entire movie. Some came close, but I just never felt the love. Then I saw Casino Royale and O_O It was AMASING! I loved it. I'll be so happy with more of the same.
