Fast and Furious Movie Trailer

The teaser trailer for Fast and Furious was attached to Death Race, and is now available online. We also have some new production photos above and after the jump. Original cast members Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster return, allowing Universal to use the tagline “New Model, Original Parts”. I think the truck hijacking is a clever but totally unbelievable callback to the original film. The montage that follows however, looks like more of the same. As always, tell me what you think in the comments below.

Official Plot Synopsis:

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reteam for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed—Fast & Furious. Heading back to the streets where it all began, they rejoin Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert in the new high-octane action-thriller.

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Conner (Walker).

But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmanuever him.

And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what’s possible behind the wheel.

Watch the trailer in High Definition on Myspace. Fast & Furious races into theaters on June 5th 2009.

  • StarBlazer101
    HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!! COUNT ME IN!!!!!!!

  • nick
    I'll BITE!
  • D.A.
    FUCK YEAH!!!

over the years I have learned to appreciate the Fast and The Furious franchise.

2 fast 2 furious still needs to win me over
  • AJ
I like the tag line even though it's corny as hell
  • Looks like a fun popcorn flick. I'm down.
  • Ben C.
I didnt like the two sequels but maybe its the nostalgia (I remember being in like the 5th grade when the first one coming out, seeing it in theaters and loving it) for the original that has me pumped for this movie. Trust me even I'm ashamed to admit that.
  • Agent J
Can Michelle Rodriguez be anymore hotter?? Holy crap, I'm looking forward to this movie.
  • McGruff
This may be the first time I've seen Michelle Rodriguez in something and not wanted to punch her in the face. This also may be the first time I've ever seen her smile. Because of that count me in.

I'm also a big fan of trailers that revolve around one scene, especially when that scene involves Vin Diesel and exploding gas trucks.

    Nice.
  • Klaus Kinski
I did not see any F&F movie yet. Should i start now? No.
  • Mikey M
I wanted to like the first one but it was just full of Loud cars and guys that acted wayyy tooo macho to overcompansate for their "Short" comings.
Cool cars are one thing but racing them? Well that's for teens that don't have anything better to do on the weekends.
  • Ohiofile
I like how in the photo it looks like Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are having a conversation like:

PW: "Can you believe our careers have actually come to this point? We were the golden children once and now we've come back to be in Fast and Furious Part 4?"

    VD: "Yeah. It sucks."

PW: "I mean, Ludicris didn't even come back for this one."

VD: "Did you hear that I'm going to do two more Chronicles of Riddick movies?"

    PW: "Chronicles of who?"

    VD: "I'm so depressed."
  • JP Dyno
2F2F wasnt that bad, I didnt mind it. But then again i was excited that they slipped some more musclecars in..... Tokyo drift was a friggin joke though. hopefully with vinnie boy back this one goes back to its roots, The first movie was cool.
  • fat dave
    i'll admit it.
the f&f series is a guilty pleasure to me.

    i'm looking forward to this.
  • A.J.
Oooooo. I've always had a weak spot for the Fast and Furious series. I think its great that they're bringing the original cast back. That's what they should have done with the second, and third one. Looks way better than Tokyo Drift, which was definitely the failure of the 3.
  • A.J.
ps...Why does Michelle Rodriguez look 100 times hotter in this movie than in all of the other movies she's been in?
  • VinHybrid
    Best. Tagline. Ever.

    "New Model. Original Parts."
  • Luis
next years summer movies are going to be bad ass...cant wait for this one...it looks really intresting. plus the original group is back.. movie looks intense
  • MozThaGreat
im srry but i disagree with yall, this really could have been better, justin lin and jon singleton both hav absolutely no buisness wat so ever in film industry if u ask me. ill admit im somewhat interested in this this franchise again but there will never be another "The Fast and The Furious" by rob cohen. That movie to me was an instant classic. And couldnt they just call it The Fast and The Furious 4 or The Fast and The Furious: California Sprint? Fast and Furious wuz jus a lazy attemp to name tha damn movie. They should have got Rob Cohen to return!(only in my dreams)
  • Dee
see the thing is the first two were made in cali son.
  • That was a pretty interesting sequence, for no reason more than all the stunts appear to have been done for real. Nice.
  • gah
This is what happens when your solo careers don't go as planned. Deisel, Walker, and Rodriguez were all poised to be big stars. Now they're back to the well.
  • Superman
Who the hell asked for this movie? Hollywood has officially jumped the shark, Fast and Furiously. You know it's bad when they're releasing direct to video crap as major releases.
  • adam
that's "Does It Offend You Yeah? - We Are Rockstars" playing before anybody asks.
  • KeanE
    Yesssss!!!!

honestly, this shoulda been part 2....the last 2 were ok, but they were not nearly entertaining as the original....plus Jordana Brewster sexy self is back...mmmmmm
  • Agent J
Can Michelle Rodriguez look any hotter??
  • First movie's title - "The Fast & the Furious" ... fourth movie's title - "Fast & Furious"... how about "Lazy and Lazier"?
  • Pretty much a straight to DVD movie, but if there's nothing better at the theater, I might just go. Just for Michelle Rodriguez if nothing else.
  • Bob
wow this looks amazing. you can count me in. i still hate tokyo drift, but i am willing to see this
  • AshDraven
I'm sure the outlandish paycheck Vin is drawing from this should go along way towards getting the Riddick films made.
  • louise
    :)
    piss'a
  • I don't get why that truck turned over and essploded.
  • optimusprime
summer 09 is looking good. can't for this movie.
  • What's with the title? While it looks pretty nice, you can't have two different movies with identical titles and not call it a remake. Plus I'll always resent the F&F movies because they inspired so many wiggers and wanna-be gangsters to supe up their Mazdas.
I'll watch, only hoping they include that song "Watch Yo Back" from the first movie.
  • scar
whats the song on the trailer?
  • scar
    durrrrrrrrrrr...
    it's
Does It Offend You, Yeah? - We Are Rockstars
  • Oh Blair
so whats the name of this god damn movie?

the first was already had this title

    wtfmate
  • Oh Blair
also, vin diesel is on a comeback, fiiiiiinallly
  • A real Fast and Furious squeal. One the fans want. I always like original cast for every sequel but this film series went down the crapper as original cast dropped out of the production like flies. Now that they are back it could set up a Fast and Furious squeal that is good.
  • NIdWId6I8
The only thing that could make me want to see this movie more than I already want to is if they bring back Brad from Home Improvement...I mean he pretty much stole the show in Tokyo Drift.

But it does look interesting, and with the original cast it should be pretty good.
  • TheDaftPunk
This is what 2 Fast 2 Furious should have been, and Tokyo Drift should have never come into existence. I really wanted to know what happened with Diesel's character, and their truck hijacking schemes, I hope we get some answers. I'm definitely in for this, especially since the main crew is returning.
  • ajt8503
As a car guy I can't wait for this. Sure they aren't oscar worthy movies but damn are they fun.
  • Ryan
SWEEEET . Im a huge fan of all three and I cannot wait for this ahhhhh transformers 2 and F&F 4 F*uck Yeah !!!!!

*puts in fast and the furious and chills*
  • Cdg
As if, I'm going to say this will probably suck. It'll be like 10% story line and 90% action.

I know Hollywood is a business but another F&tF, seriously?

Interesting to see how it will fair at the box office.
  • Alex Tamayo
I'm an actual Dominican (from the Dominican Republic) and that did not look anything like anywhere in my country, but still is very flattering that they actually mentioned us. After all Diesel's character is supposed to be based on a Dominican heritage guy from NY and Michelle is actually half dominican.

Still, really good looking scene, probably this movie will deserve for me to spend my money on a movie ticket.
  • Chromey
What?!?! That was one kick-ass trailer.
  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!

First off, this movie's gonna suck.

Secondly, no one gives a shit what that song is, because like all Does It Offend You, Yeah?'s music it sounds like ripped off SHIT.
