i loved paris je taime so ill definitely see this. first time i've ever seen a trailer that ended with "in post production"

"Paris, je t'aime" was miles above this new one...even if there were a majority of American actors in both...for some reason the New York one feels like an HBO short film contest...the fact that Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese aren't involved, while Brett Ratner is does worry me...

Sounds a bit lame. The whole point of "Paris, je t'aime" was that Paris is the city of love and each vignette was in a different arrondissement that expressed some type of love to tie the whole city together. Seems a bit lame to just copy the title and apply it to New York and I doubt it'll really come together in the right way. Vignettes in all the different boroughs of new york where people are losing sleep (the city that never sleeps) or something more applicable to New York would be a cooler idea. New York, I Love You, just seems unoriginal.

I don't think a concept like this will work as well for New York City quite like it did with Paris. It all depends on the writing involved but from what I saw it didn't look as wonderful as Paris, je t'aime either.

I think the movie looks good. Being a born New Yorker, I would love just about any good movie about that great city.

I loved Paris, Je t'aime, and I want to see this but somehow I see this as nowhere near as good as the first, regardless of the all star cast.

I like the look of Shia Labeouf's segment, it looks kinda like Road to Perdition. I really hope that's not Ratner's segment.

i love how different Shia LaBeouf looks with his beard an tht. But this film too me seems like an american interpratation of "love actually" lots of sepperate love stories that in the end cross over and link up into a bigger story..

I'm not saying you're wrong (I hope you're not, as I'd like to see him direct again) but I was just curious.

the point of this as the first was to show directors view of NYC. The first one has directors mostly not from paris as this one has directors mostly not from NYC. Thats what they where going for. They stated this in an interview about the projects.
