    Me... Want... Shirt.

they messed the t-shirt, the pencil shoud be facing the other way, the rubber is not the part that goes into the eye.
  • Jeff
    @hernan:

How did the pencil stay standing up if the rubber end is on the table?
  • First awesome Dark Knight shirt I've seen.

I hope it says "TA-DA!" on the back.

    @ Jeff

    1. Try standing a pencil on it's sharpened tip.

    2. The Joker held it for all but a couple miliseconds which isn't enough time for gravity to take action.

Yeah, the pencil should be facing the other way.
  • Colin
I thought he stabbed the pencil into the table? And if you slammed someone into a pencil hard enough, I'm sure the rubber end would work just fine.

@ A better class of criminal

In the film, the Joker slams the pencil onto the table, causing the pencil to dig into it. If he did it with the end of the pencil that isn't sharp, the end with the eraser, then it wouldn't have stood up. He removes his hands from the pencil. If it wasn't dug into the table, it would have fallen. There was enough time for it to fall.

    @ Jeff,

OK, I just saw it on You Tube and you're right.

How is it that I didn't notice it the other 50 times I watched it?

This shirt may as well read, "Hey, kick my ass!"
  • carg0
i always assumed it was a double-edged piece of metal (or something similarly tough) simply carved and shaped to look like a pencil so as to appear harmelss.

Why would the Joker keep a razor sharp fake pencil instead of a real one? He's smart but simplistic. Its not like he arrived knowing he would have to stab a guy through the eye & prepared in advance. he's like a dog chasing cars & has no plan remember? The scary part is that he's so simple, spastic, and crazy enough to know how to adress the situation with a common pencil!!
