Star Trek Wants To Be Your Friend, On MySpace

Paramount has launched an official MySpace page for JJ Abrams’ Star Trek. Right now the page is pretty standard, with wallpapers and a trailer, but I’m sure they’ll be adding a few cool goodies over the next eight months.

Boy you said it Liz,,,,, MySpace has allways struck me as something highschool geeks are doing these days.
Im often shocked when adults use the site to advertise there pathetic lives.

Couldnt give a tribbles ass about Myspace.

Same here. Myspace is for people who still think Aol is the only way to use the internets. And this movie still looks like another phantom menace, riding the nostalgia train instead of legitimately being good.

Hmmm all ive seen are some lame pictures in 2 posters, and a teaser showing some pissed off looking welder working on Enterprise.

You would think they would have robots for that ????

@ Superman,

With virtually no production photos, trailers, any type of footage available to the public and its release still 9 months away you’re able to state this movie is going to suck? I doubt you know anything about this movie to make an informed opinion.

Oh and the only people on My Space is 14 year olds and 44 year olds pretending to be 14 year olds.

I think Superman, was basing his point on how Phantom Menace was a prequel, virtually Star Trek 0 , is a prequel as well , and im not totally hip to that ether,,, !!!!!
There (Abrams) gonna have to really pull off some magic for my Star Trek tastes. If they blow it, im gonna be there calling for blood.

I’m sooooo not interested in a myspace page, bring on a new trailer, some shots of the Enterprise or the uniforms!

At the very least forget myspace and facebook and do something to the ncc-1701.com viral site!
