New W. Posters Show A Misunderestimated Movie

FilmSchoolRejects found some new teaser posters for Oliver Stone’s George Bush biopic W. The posters were found downtown in Denver, Colorado, right next to the convention center, where not-so-coincidentally, the Democratic National Convention will be held later this month. The tagline on the poster reads “A Life Misunderestimated”. I know the teaser trailer was disappointing, but I really love these posters. Head on over to Rejects to see the whole thing in higher res.

I dont think this film will be breaking any walls down with peoples opinon and only make them laugh if they get to see it.

That tagline only furthers the general opinion that this is just going to be a feature-length Bush IZ StOoOpId!!!! joke.

More boring crap out of Hollywood big suprise.

I can't believe this. The trailer is not disappointing. It doesn't look boring, or petty, or childish. It looks hilarious, and I'm happy that it seems to focus mainly on how the man ended up the way he did, not what he did while in office. The whole world knows what he's done in office, I just hope that the movie is true to the trailer and we get to see life as a young W.

I still say he looks nothing at all like Dubya. The trailer looks like the script was written by a ten year old. Just cause Dubya sucks doesn't mean this movie's anything other than more Oliver Stone stupidity.

On the other hand, Alexander is the funniest movie of the past decade, so I'll netflix this one, too.

how was the trailer disappointing? what, exactly, were you expecting?

I hope Stone covers Dubya's initiation into Skull & Bones.

And the last scene really has to be Dubya on the Aircraft Carrier with the Mission Acomplished banner behind him.

Looks to be a horrible movie. Another Hollywood Democrat wackfest. As much as I disagree with what the man has done in office, the constant jokes about his stupidity or that of the Republican party stopped being funny years ago. Plenty of presidents made mistakes, yet there aren't movies to show how stupid they were. Let's move on, please.

    Memo to Oliver Stone:

    Do not make movies anymore.

Your movies have become pathetic regurgitations of your previous political works.

Also, I know you think epileptic seizure style filming gives your movies an feeling of "reality..." They don't. They make your already heinous movies even more heinous.
