They took one of the greatest cult movies of the 80s and raped it in front of the eyes of millions of fans. It's not enough to have one great movie, they think that any great movie will automatically spawn great sequels. Lost Boys was AMAZING but it was a one shot deal. Movies nowadays have so many special effects available to them that they rely more on CGI and don't bother making a good plot or interesting characters or a good visual profile. This sequel was laughable- it lacked any of the subtlety of the original and their voices and faces just made me cry the effects were so bad. And the new powers they added? They're just too lazy to think of an original plot. And I'm sure the sequel to the Goonies will be crap too because no one can let good cinema well enough alone.

I would like to start by saying that,haveing read the other responses to the movie that ASHH is a fucking wanker and doesnt know what hes taking about,tosser.I know now why this film went straight to dvd,cos its shit.The producer should be shoot,not enough action in the movie,wasent much of anything if iam honest.The alternate endings were better than the film.I a very big fan of the lost boys and wish now after watching this that they didnt make it.I wasnt going to watch it at first,because of the straight to dvd release and thought it would be crap.After wanting the sequal for years it finally comes and iam so disapointed,story line was crap the acting was terrible,ted hilgenbrinck couldnt act for shit and as for kefer sutherlands half brother whos name i cant remmeber(wounder why),what can i say,dont give up your day job mate, shit.When i started watching it i so wanted it to be good but after just 2 or 3 mins,in fact the first scene at the house when you c them change to vampires that was it for me,it went down the toilet like a lump of shit.The lost boys was filmed in the eighties and the tribe in the 21st centery.I could not tell the difference,the vampires didnt look half as good s they did in the eighties,there was more speacial effects in the lost boys,i saw none in this tribe crap.I wish now that i didnt watch this tribe rubbish,i was hopeing for so much should have known.The only good thing was COREY FELDMAN,he left of were he started in the first.But we didnt even get to see him much,the movie only picked up when he was on screen.Hope they make the sequall to the GOONIES better than they did with this.

I am deeply angry to see they went ahead and made this! Im more than a little angry! I tell you that im so pissed off i watched the first 2 minutes (no joke!) saw some cool hip surf guys with rap voices and turned it staright off! I cant even sit through the trailer!
Im 110% boycotting this piece of crap and i know any TRUE fan of The Lost Boys will be doing the same thing!
The person who gave the go ahead on this film is an idiot and knows NOTHING about films!

Whats the big deal? why are you being so critical? i’m sure there are millions of people out there who love lost boys 2. it’s just a movie, it’s not like it ruins your life if it’s not what you want it to be. Personally i think the 2nd one was better because it was more this century. At least they didn’t change every single thing in the movie. Edgar Frog or whatever his real name is, still says some of the same lines as he did in the first movie. =/ i liked them both, honestly i think they did a good job on the second movie.

Ok, so I started watching this movie over an hour ago…probably ten minutes into it, I got on the computer to see if any other people in the world feel the way I do right now. WHAT THE HELL???? A good sequel that could have been so full of potential just got raped in front of my eyes. I’m totally Ctrl-Alt-Deleting this movie from my memory, and sticking to the first Lost Boys movie. As of now, the ONLY Lost Boys movie.

This movie was a huge let down, i waited so long to see this come to life, and then after seeing it i felt like crying. What was with the 1 minute scene with Haim, all the big hype that he was in it, for a crappy 2 seconds.. I loved the first one, and now i love it even more.

Remember how fans re-dubbed Highlander 3 as Highlander: The Apology? Remember the god-awful-ness of the second Highlander, which prompted said re-dubbing?

Most of you here probably don’t, or were so traumatized by the entire experience that you conveniently forgot about it. I feel an eerie sense of deja vu as I watch The Tribe.

All I can say is this: Thank God that the Labyrinth sequel is a manga.

Personally I think they should act as if the second never existed and move towards a sequel to the original. I was hoping that this one wouldn’t suck, but I was also hoping though that this film would stir up some interest and possibly lead to another film (hoping for a better producer/film). Maybe we should just leave it as it is, because it can get much worse and given the chance I think they could do much worse. I will act as if this film never existed, it’s embarassing to even think about it as a Lost Boys movie.

I think there should be a third one jus to finish up the series
it should involve corey haim and jamison newlander as the bad guys
and corey feldman and ted hilgenbrinck as the saviors, but
i do agree with the rest this movie should have had a lot more
action

3/10? You are being really friendly. Lost Boys 2: The Tribe makes the original look like Citizen Kane. They turned Sam into a vampire for gods sake! And it was torture alone just sitting through the first 5 minutes. Lost Boys 2:The Tribe shits on the greatness of the original. Lost Boys 3 shouldn’t be made! Shouldn’t even be an afterthought.
