Watchmen Video: Creating The Owlship

Warner Bros has released a new Watchmen video journal on Yahoo. Director Zack Snyder takes us through the making of the Owlship. I also recommend you head on over to AICN and check out some of designer Alex McDowell’s production photos, one of which can be seen above. We got a chance to get up close and personal with the Owlship at Comic Con, and I must admit, it’s incredibly cool.

Remember, a new Watchmen video journal hits on the 6th of every month, so check back on September 6th. Watchmen will hit theaters on March 6th 2009.

    Do yourself a favor and go see The Dark Knight in IMAX. You'll get to see the Watchmen trailer up on the giant screen and be able to truly admire its beauty. It was incredible.

    I'm not sold on this at all, strictly because I hated 300. Looked so fake and the slow-mo just got so ridiculous.

    Are most of the people looking forward to this fans of 300?

    For the hundredth time, Watchmen will not be released until next March. The footage you've seen is NOT finished product. It's called a teaser for a reason.

    And yes, Iron Matt...it was pretty breathtaking in IMAX, no?

  • I'm halfway through reading the book. Amazing. If the movie is even half of what the book is, it will be awesome.

    However, if the movie totally sucks, it's not a loss because it introduced me to the graphic novel that I should have read years ago.

    (also, what's up with the 300 bashing? the movie is actually more well rounded than the graphic novel, in my opinion. plus, seeing all those 6 packs made me get my ass to the gym)
