There have been many rumors over the years, and supposedly a script that fell into development hell, but as Hollywood continues to search for my recycled ideas, The Goonies never say die. Moviehole is reporting that Warner Bros is planning a big screen theatrical tent-pole movie release. There are supposedly writers aboard the project, however we have no idea who.
The last script attempt involved a new group of kids, as the daughters and sons of the original Goonies gang, going off on a new adventure. All of the original cast members, including Josh Brolin, have expressed interest during interviews, in returning for a second film, if it were to happen. As much as I’m excited to revisit the characters from my childhood, I wonder if the story will be good enough to justify it. I just got done watching The Lost Boys 2 and I’m kinda worried.
And speaking of The Lost Boys… Clint also has word that Warner (Premiere possibly) is also gearing up for The Lost Boys 3 which would pitt up Corey vs. Corey, Feldman vs. Haim, in a battle set-up at the conclusion of the second dvd movie. Sounds epic… Epic enough for the big screen? I’m guessing that depends on just how much The Tribe sells on DVD.

The big question is if they will do Lost Boys 3, will Corey Haim have yet another fake drug relapse on the set that will be filmed for their reality show to create buzz for the DVD. If Haim really pissed off producers because he was in a drug haze on the set and refused to do a shoot and bumbled his lines because he was slurring his speech, do you really think they would want to do another movie with him in a bigger role? Yet people eat up his Faux Danny Bonaduce drug meltdown (which probably wasn’t real itself).

the reunion, the drunk Goonies accidentally kill a man with
their car and the group decides to ditch the body in the
lake. But here’s the catch, the guy’s not dead! And he

Lost Boys 2…I laughed at so many things during the movie. It had a little bit of entertainment value, but perhaps that is because I
pretty much got what I expected —actually, I was expecting worse. LoL
The Corey Haim appearance is laughable. He had a melt down
for that bit part?? Well, I guess I can understand where he said they
ruined his character. LoL I dunno I thought it was an improvement.

after seeing Jamison Newlander and Corey Feldman come out on stage as ALAN and EDGAR FROG at Comic Con, I’d much rather see a FROG BROTHERS movie, the duo battling Vampires, kicking ass and delivering funny quips…I don’t need to see Corey vs. Corey. I want Frog Brothers and nothing more…

heres a suggestion….. the goonies are in a posh boarding school when it is taken over by cuban militants. they all hide in a cupboard but are magically transported to the land of narnia where they meet an irate alan rickman who threatens to rip their hearts out with a spoon. after escaping him they board a magical flying dog…….. to be continued

If people dont like sequels or remakes,dont go see them! Its simple, all the crying about the situation is sad, GROW UP! I thought lost boys 2 was alot better than i expected, so lets get haim drugged up again and go for 3. I grew up in the 80s too and im not bitter about any of this. I mean no sequel could ever surpass the original goonies but if they try to remake stand by me, im killing someone. Come on, its painfully obvious that hollywood ran out of new and original ideas many years ago, so lets move on.

I just got finished watching lost boys the tribe and i loved it. I am only 13 years old but i have always loved the lost boys movie sence the first time i watched it i think i was three :) But i do have some questions. I did just watch the movie but i never saw the other frog brother what happen to him ? and i thought that corey haim wasnt in the film ? Oh but dont get me wrong , i am a huge feldman and haim fan ……… I dont think that the movie could have been anybetter except for maybe if michael would have been in it. Eneny way they did a GREAT job on this film and i cant wait for the next one. I will buy the tribe 50 times if it means they will be a part two XD

Please make Lost Boys badass!!! Part 2 is blows and basically fell asleep. Heck Buffy the vampire slayer beats that,it was like watching Charm the tv seris. Make it cool Corey Vs. Corey, awesome,but make him where fieldman helps Haims or something or the both become vampires ot something awesome.Please make it come to the theaters and not on dvd,everthing that goes to dvd,you know it’s going to blow.Part 2 was like watching some shitted porn movie,come it was too much sex shit.We want cool music,awesome fights,blood,and scary!!! Part 3 better kick all vampire movies. Put the song a bat out of hell from meatloaf.Now that would be awesome!!!!!!!!!
