Yes, I am also very excited about this movie. After hearing Jonah Nolan was on board, I was sold. On the other hand, I still think McG is an idiot. Also, now that there is a high res poster of one of the terminators, in the eyes, is that a double helix? I know I am 99.9% wrong, but that is just really odd to see that in the eyes.

Its kinda comical he's treating the cyborg that way because the machines have no emotions, you would think Conor of all people would know that by now.

The more I look at the picture of them they do seem very similar , lending more wieght to the Connor Taxidermy rumors.

for me that taxidermy rumor is a dealbreaker. if yer right and the similarity is more than just a coincidence, i'll walk out of the fucking theater and never watch another minute of this new trilogy - and i'm thinking i won't be the only person who will HATE that direction. i thought it was denounced, but i'm not really sure.

I'm totally right there with you, and I'm pretty sure Captain Awesome would also join us. Dealbreaker EXREME and not to mention would just De-Ball the character as a human hero.

The "taxidermy" rumor, if it is what I think it is, has supposedly been debunked by McG. He said at ComicCon that they leaked a false rumor about the ending:

Since this is the only rumor I've heard about the ending, it is either the false one or McG is the only person who doesn't know how to spread misinformation on the internet.

As for McG himself, I have minimal concerns. Why?

1. He name drops Chris Nolan's Batman films and Children of Men as inspiration, so we know he's aiming in the right direction (whether he can hit the target is another matter, I admit).

2. While Charlie's Angels 2 was complete crap, the first one was a blast to sit through. We Are Marshall is somewhere in the middle. So there's at least a chance it won't completely suck. More importantly, he's a producer on both Supernatural and Chuck, which should give him at least some geek cred.

3. Jonah Nolan writing the script. I know everyone is gushing over Chris Nolan, Bale, and Ledger on Dark Knight, but the truth is that film works first and foremost because of its script.

4. Christian Bale. Superstardom has derailed many actors, but so far Bale has had a solid track record. He's got Batman money, so I don't think this was a gig he would need to take unless he felt it would be worth while.

Maybe only t4 will be PG-13 rated

Everything about this movie feels totally different than the first three. Probably because its not an Arnold movie. I just hope the though provoking sci-fi elements remain intact. That is imperative to this series overall success.
