New Harry Potter Theme Park Concept Art: Three Broomsticks

Universal Studios has released a new conceptual image from their upcoming Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, which will be part of Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. The artwork depicts the Three Broomsticks, where theme park guests will be able to enjoy authentic food and drink from the world of Harry Potter upon its opening at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The Three Broomsticks is one of the local pubs in Hogsmeade. Known for its delicious butterbeer and its beautiful owner Madam Rosmerta, who lives above the pub, the Three Broomsticks is a favourite pub among Hogwarts students and staff.

    Wow! Another crappy restaurant at Universal serving disgusting pizzas and/or fried chicken and/or ribs and/or dried out hamburgers and/or chicken fingers! But with a Harry Potter theme to the decor! I can;t wait! Just give us another great coaster like the Hulk or Dueling Dragons.

    that's a bit arrogant to say. I'm aware potter's almost on star wars level of guaranteed box office bucks based on brand name alone (we'll see how the star wars brand holds up with clone wars) but word on the streets is that if you tell your friends you went to see harry potter fiddle his wand at the movies, you'll get beat up. Maybe that'll have an affect is all im saying.

    If you hang around people who will beat you up because you said you watched a movie, you truly live in a sorry world and hang around with all the wrong people. Orange cinema is correct in saying that there is no way in hell it will bomb.

    definitely going to be there on opening day, curious to see some actual photos of the world itself though.

    Gee, I hope my friends at the playground don't beat me up for watching the new Harry Potter. They've already pressured me into smoking and stealing candy bars from the local market. Yikes! What's a boy to do?

    This theme park looks awesome. It's a great concept and I think it will bring a lot of $ to an already great park. Islands of Adventure is still a cool place to go and escape the Mouse. I already have plans set to take the family in a couple years. Provided that I don't get a fatal wedgie from the bullies down the street.

    I am always amazed at what the disney or people at universal are doing with their parks

    I am going to disney and universal this dec. for a fam trip. this wont be open but it just gets me excited. I love being there.

    Anyone know if the Harry Potter Island is replacing one of the existing islands, or will it be a new addition? From what I remember of Islands, it being a big circle, there didn't seem room enough to add an entire Island to the structure. Sure would be cool if they could, though. I love that park, and it did always seem just a wee bit small to me.

    I just went to Islands of Adventure today, and walking between the lost continent and Jurassic park. The new area is fairly wedged in between the two parks and it goes back further so space doesn't seem to be an issue...

    It looks good and I was, I still am excited. But I saw the picture of people walking around.. my imagination of an "authentic Harry Potter world" crumbled.

    It looked just like any other museum, theme park and like an old ruin. For example, The Diagon alley, it won't feel like "the diagon alley" with people in shorts, skirts, blouses (casual clothing).. it's suppose to be witches and wizard'z alley..

    What I'm trying to say is.. I want to feel that I am "IN Diagon Alley" not "looking at diagon alley.." then THAT will be an 'authentic harry potter world' wouldn't you agree?
