Honestly, thats kind of time-NOT-well spent. I doubt i will ever hear anyone be like... "Dude, guess what I did, I made the Dark Knight the WORST movie ever on IMDb.com!"

Looks like IMDB has been fixed. The Dark Knight is still #1 on the Top 250 list, but it's not on the Bottom 100 list.

Almost as pointless as fanboys voting down the Godfather in an attempt to make sure Dark Knight is number 1. For the record I think it is the most over rated movie of the year and I fully agree with the criticisms Dave gave in the after dark podcast. Too bad everyone else tried to diminish and downplay his opinion as "nit picking". I liked the movie, but it had major problems.

Who cares? IMDb's ratings are a joke and their crew listings are often inaccurate.

People are caring about this way too much. I am a fan of The Dark Knight, and I saw it opening weekend (not IMAX), and I enjoyed it. I rated it 10/10 because it was an awesome quality film, but I haven't rated the Godfather because I haven't seen it yet.

People that rate the Godfather 1/10 because they are TDK fanboys are just sad and pathetic.

Just goes to show you that the haters of The Dark Knight have to hack and cheat to get their way. Resetting Wall-E and Iron Man votes, are they joking? Did they think those were better movies? There are no chads in electronic ballots. TDK deserves #1 - according to the system, and Iron Man and Wall-E don't.

On the other side of that coin, Godfather fanboys who give TDK a 1 are just as pathetic.

In a previous post, I said how it'd be stupid to rate either movie a 1/10. However, people have to understand that it goes both ways. There are just as many people voting down The Dark Knight.

Also, @ Eli - We're responding to a post about hackers destroying The Dark Knight's prestige; I don't think you have any room to talk about TDK fanboys rating down anything, these hackers are doing it tenfold. Dark Knight was horrible and heath ledger was just awful as joker. One of the worst performances from any batman villain. Even Arnold Swarchenager was better as Ice man then Ledger as Joker. I'm glad . lets keep voting this thing down as far as possible.

Pfff, who wants to watch old-people movies like The Godfather? Old movies look so horrible and dated. Advancement in movie quality gets better and better as we move into the future. Get with the times, The Dark Knight is fresh and awesome.

You have to be one of those lame DK fanboys or a 13 year old kid to think that Dark Knight is better then the Godfather. FYI: I'm 18 years old and have seen both movies and loved them. Dark Knight was by far the greatest BATMAN movie of all time. But, the Godfather saga is timeless and amazing. I'm not going to bash Ledger, cause he was an extrodenary actor, but to compare his preformance with that of Al Pacino is like comparing a tonka truck to a steamroller.

Shawshank has had a higher rating than Godfather for a long time, but Godfather was still number 1.
Shawshank should have been about Godfather, and if the TDK fans have made the top 250 representative of the actual scores, all the power to them.

I really loved the Dark Knight, its a fine movie, maybe the best film this year. As much as I like the Dark Knight I'm kind of glad that somebody has messed up IMDB, I despise lists and fanboys, you have to have fairly limited taste to vote one movie as the best ever. There are dozens of movies I've seen over the years which have really wowed me, Dark Knight is just one of them

is the dark knight a great movie?.....yes of course
does it deserve number one spot on the top 250?.....absolutely not. If there's one movie ever deserve it, it couldn't be an action movie
