I wonder if the BD release will have them in HD?

will they be as disappointing as Season 2 was as a whole?
still, gives us something to watch before Season 3 starts. :]

Also confirmed for those episodes will be the introduction of at least a dozen superfluous characters with mediocre powers and backstory, who will all be killed off by the end of their episodes.

I'm glad. Hopefully it fills in the plot holes and fixes up the bad season

Thanks for the info on this Peter, not everyone here hated season 2.

season 2 was mediocre at best, maybe because they a lot to live up to after the incredible first season. i am looking forward to the third but they should come out with something soon cause im starting to forget about the show.

I'm still sad Kevin Smith never got to direct an episode.

season 3 spoilers & the description of the upcoming 1st episode sound like recycled episodes & themes of season 1. i'd list what they are, but i think it qualifies as big spoilers - but for anyone who really wants to know it's not hard to find.

@ricky: you already have some early stuff to keep you waiting for (and not forgetting about) the show you know... The emails never ended, the webisodes started a couple weeks ago, and Season 3's first episode was shown at Comic Con and description is available on here... If you'd really want to follow the show, you'd just keep your eyes open. Like orange cinema said, it's not that hard to find.

Heroes season 2 comes out on dvd in u.k tommorow, maybe those episode will be upload before you know it

I got my copy of season 2 today (which I found odd being in the UK, as the series hasn't even aired on TV here).

The unaired episode is an alternate version of episode #11 it seems.
