Too bad Transformers was one of the worst movies ever made. Seriously, people will like anything nowadays.

-this will not come anywhere close to breaking TDK’s record dude. that’s just silly.
-i cannot wait for this film, but is that the same optimus prime image from the first film?

This is best TF2 post ever !

This will not break TDK’s opening weekend. There’s too many people that won’t see it because it won’t get key demographics like TDK did. Most adults will pass on this. Plus, TDK looked good from the beginning where as this looks like they will overdue it with robots and cheesy sayings like every other Michael Bay film.

Maybe I’m just completely out of touch with humanity, but I find it absoloutly mind boggling that anyone could extract any enjoyment out of the first Transformers film. It was like getting teeth pulled. I can’t believe I threw my hard earned dollars away to commit myself to a two hour GM/Mountain Dew/Apple/Etc. commercial with terrible actors and even cheesier FX based on a terrible cartoon based on an action figure from the 80s. But it looks like the “Based on a Cartoon Based on an Action Figure” genre has taken off since GI Joe got greenlit and looks equally as bad as Bay’s “film”.

This gets my vote for most boring and worthless /Film post of all time. Sorry, Peter. I know it’s your job and all, but…

You guys will see, record box office. Right now you don’t feel the hype yet. Give it time, and this film being the biggest box office champ will seem like common sense by the time it’s opening night.

I thought TDK was so horrible I could barley sit through it, the only good thing about it was The Joker. Bale makes a terrible Batman. The only reason people are going to see the movie is because of Ledgers death. Not because it has such good special effects, which it doesn’t.
Yeah True, Transformers 2 won’t beat TDK. The only way it could possibly do that is if Shila died.

This pisses me off, you people are all saying this is gonna suck as if you already saw a damn trailer or something. I remember when everyone kept saying TDK was gonna suck cause Heath didn’t look a thing like The Joker, especially when the first picture of him as the Joker was released. Now you are all worshiping him as if he was a God. Same thing with Iron Man, at first everyone was kissing Favraeu’s and RDJ’s ass and now you are all talking shit about Iron Man. I bet after the first trailer is released all the people that are shit-talking this movie are gonna be the first to try and get advanced tickets for IMAX, if it is released in IMAX.
