Video: Live From Hall H

We braved the lines of insane Twilight fans and are now sitting in Hall H. A huge scaffolded curtain fell while people were entering. I’m not sure if anyone was injured. The Fox panel was delayed as they inspected the curtains around the stage. After all, no one wants Keanu Reeves to get hurt.

  • behind the scenes ...the talent was told:

"PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE GEEKS BEHIND THE CURTAIN"
  • Peter changed his shirt!

Can Peter auction off that grey long sleave shirt for charity? and could that charity please burn it?
  • Phil
Are you guys going to the UP panel Saturday?
  • "a sad metaphor for the organization of comic-con as a whole"
    lol
  • After all, no one wants Keanu Reeves to get hurt.

    Speak for yourself :)

love the videos- keep 'em coming

(nothing says excitement like a curtain falling very slowly.)

    awesome twilight!

Thanks guys for the vid! lol @ curtain, sounds like dangerous stuff, you guys better be careful ;)
  • Quenfis
Oh, you know what would be totally awesome...is if Dave could learn to not swing the camera around all willy-nilly. I almost lost my lunch on the keyboard. Remember, slow liquid like movements make for the best visuals. This isn't Cops! *spew*
  • Meli
LoL! Peter, are you really looking forward to the Twilight panel? ;)
  • Blackstar
Yeah Dave needs to have his cinematographer license revoked. Either that or invest in a camera with a new feature called "image stabilization". Might help with "Giggle-Cam" shots... but maybe not Dave's "Cloverfield-Cam" though.

Gee..Im sorry I'm missing this. I do think a previously unknown level of Dante's Inferno has been discovered though...

Ok, Ok..I know writing this next question is like going to a Metallica site and posting "Heavy Metal sucks!"..

but doesn't anyone else here find this whole Comic Con, Super Hero worship, Hollywood promotional cluster fuck, just kinda..embarrassing?

    Probably not.

Man, we need George Carlin more than ever.
  • Ohiofile
I like this home-version of Comic Con. I had thought about going, but this makes it look like it's not even worth it. Thanks guys for saving me the trouble.
  • Quenfis
The thing about Comic-Con is that the people/geeks who are there are in their element. It's expected to dress up, check out the new comics, new movies, get a glimps of Kristen Bell, etc. If you are not that geeky, then it might be a bit embarrassing. It's just fun to see these things. And I think you still have to be a little bit of a kid at heart to get the most out of the day.
