yeh i definitly agree with the idea of bane! here is a villain that can fight and is clever. he lets everybody loose from arkham; so then they can feature some smaller villains (like scarecrow in TDK) and then intop of all that he was the villain that broke batmans back! how more hardcore can you get?

something along those lines is the only way i can realisticly see a storyline topping tdk

i would of prefered something with the joker in arkham, then being joined by harley quinn, but with heath ledger being dead and all, i doubt they will bring the character back!

A great villain for Batman 3 would be the Abbatoir. He's a real man, so he fits Nolan's universe.
Bane might work he's just a juiced up mother, but he was smart too, Bane was a schemer and capable of making very calculated decisions. Fitting the Knight Fall Story Arc into 2.5 hours is a difficult concept.

I'm really irritated by Smith's comment "If you haven't seen it, SHAME on you!" Dude, some of us have families and, you know, LIVES, so can't get out to a movie at the drop of a hat. Sheesh.

Kevin Smith films are like spending a couple hours with a 13-year-old who thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

TDK was tedious and sadistic.

So far The revamped batman films by christopher nolan have sort of followed the formula of the classic Star Wars movies in that Batman Begins, and A New Hope, the first films in their trilogies, were both excellent films but their sequels The Empire Strikes Back and The Dark Knight surpassed the prior film in direction, action, special effects, acting, cast of characters, plot, all in flying colors

this is just my opinion though, so you know feel free to criticize me

My main beef with the Watchmen trailer, is that it was NOT a graphic novel. It was a limited series.

They're just too chicken to call it a comic series. They have to lie about it being a graphic novel.

Anyone get a possible reference to cat women in the movie... When Bruce is getting the new suit, he asks if it will stand up to dogs, and morgen freeman said it will stand up against cats... was that a reference to cat women or am i just reading too much into it... As for a villian for the third movie, I would love to see a well done Mr. Freeze. I realize Freeze would be hard in the Nolan universe, but if they could pull it off it'd be sweet...
