well this is surprising, like many of you I have never heard anything bad about Christian Bale. But then again I’ve never anything bad about the Shai Lebouf guy (transformers) either.
It seems kinda ironic though that both these guys get into a lil trouble with the law after short periods of incredible success.

Yet I am still inclined to believe that this is blown out of porportion and for the most part unture. Why, are we so quick to defend him? Why for the same reason people would call foul if Alicia Keys was arrested for something.

I’m not going to stick up for Bale like a real fanboy here, but he does sound innocent, and the laws over in England sound like a bunch of crap. You get charged for ‘verbal’ assault? Heh.

Come on London. This is ridiculous. He raised his voice to his mum and now he has been arrested. This is screwed up. Get your priorities straight and focus on the big problems in the world. As for the sis, just because you are not a great actress there is no need to take it out on your brother. Get over yourself and be happy for your brother. He is one of the greatest actors of all time. Classic, I mean come on he was in a Todd Haynes Film, not a movie, a film, “your brother was in a film.”

I think his mum and sis are just going to sue him for the money he just earned off of batman. I love Christian Bale! He doesnt deserve it even if he is guilty. And personally I have had a really shitty day becuase of this. I wrote a letter to him last night and
I probably wont be getting a responce. =’[

1) Like TDK needed anymore publicity or buzz. 2) I’ve loved Christian Bale since Newsies came out when I was 7. But doesn’t anyone think it’s weird that the internet is full of people defending him to no end?? If this were almost anyone else, people would be saying he’s a woman-hating douchebag that belongs in jail. Even having said this I’m still inclined to defend him. This man has so much power over us!

I kind of wish he were locked up though, just so I could make a spiffy “Free Batman” shirt….

I agree that this is, in all likelihood, a plot to extort money from the actor.

However, it wouldn’t shock me if it turned out to be true.

Have you seen this guy in interviews? No wonder he’s so good at playing the tortured, brooding type.

He is one surly son of a gun.

I always get the impression that he has a temper and is trying to mask it.
