I will always treasure Michael Keaton, but this is in a whole other league. I saw it Friday after driving to two theaters because of sell-outs and Saturday night having to order tickets online due to sell-outs. I wish I had the time to see it everyday until I tired of it. I saw a couple of bloopers, like Gordon's glasses missing the bottom of the frame when he holds gun on Joker; Dent on his way to jail handcuffed or not as scene moves forward. But it doesn't matter. I texted everyone when I got out and said its the best movie I have ever scene in my entire life. Maybe I mean action movies, maybe I mean comic book movies. Right now, and for a long time to come, I mean any movie. Transformers was satisfying and killed Fantastic 4. Dark Knight quenches that which was not imagined and annilates EVERYTHING ELSE in its path. I wish Ledger had not passed, he deserves all the glory for his oustanding performance, dead or alive. Hats off also to the choreographing of Bale's fight scenes. Two hours and forty minutes of continuous adventure and thrills. Worth every penny and more.

To b perfectly honest when I've heard back in 2004 that a new batman film was about to come alive on the big screen again I wasn't so enthusiastic about it... Although I am a big fun of the character I was disappointed by the last movie, which was presented by Joel Schumacher ... Since I've seen the Cristopher Nolan's version I fell in love again with batman.. I just became a child again.. That's the Batman we always dream of. A very dark and serious character with angry eyes and scary voice...With no Robin, catwoman etc... I am of the opinion that Christian Bale was the obvious choice... I couldn't wait for the sequel... And here we are, in 2008, after I've seen The Dark Knight twice, I want to see it again and again... I believe that it is the God Father Part II of the BC movies... Of course it was much better than Batman Begins.. Finally I've never seen a villain like Heath Legder before... A whole different approach to the character of Joker... He deserves the Oscar... The best batman movie I have ever seen...

I've just seen it a third time, once on IMAX, once on normal and once on ExtremeScreen. I understood it the best and I loved it the best this time round. No more now for a while, I want to let it soak in.

I get Harvey better this time too. You could see it was going to happen to him, Rachel or no Rachel. And he was pissed at Gordon not because of Rachel, but because Gordon was the system he believed in and Gordon let him down.

And if I had to sum up what TDK was about in one word, it would be -
Belief.

I have already seen The Dark Knight 4 times with various friends and family members. Everyone who I take loves it and there's almost always a mention of seeing it again.

I loved the film and Heath Ledger's performance was brilliant to say the least. However, I feel that Nolan made a few bold CGI and subplot moves I wasn't particularly happy with that the movie could have just as easily done without. Nevertheless, the film was incredibly well done, the cinematography spectacular, and most of the acting impeccable. I'm not sure if Ledger will receive a posthumous Oscar for his performance, but he certainly deserves it. Looking forward to the DVD and Bluray release. Until then, I'll probably see it again and again.

I saw the movie on Friday when it came out. A few hours after I saw it another friend asked if I wanted to see it (he didn't know I had already seen it earlier).

I said yes and saw it again only a few hours after I had seen it the first time.

Ive seen it twice already, and I am going again to see it in Imax tomorrow.

I am no Batman fan, I have never seen a Batman movie or TV show until the day I saw Dark Night (I saw Batman Begins before leaving to the theater to see Dark Night), and Dark Night has to be the best movie overall that ive ever seen in my entire life.

Everythings good, All acting ESPECIALLY Ledger, the plot is great, and all the editing and effects are amazing. Simply put, they perfected every aspect of this movie; and they have the finest film of all time to show for it.

Yes, definitely seeing it again. Saw it at 12:01 opening day in IMAX. Going again on Friday with a 17 person group from work in IMAX. THEN, going again on Sunday with MORE people in IMAX. I can not settle for a shitty small shitty theater to see this movie. I can't wait to soak in Heath's performance. This is going to be a long damn week! ARGH!

yes! Tuesday on Imax with some other friends who havent seen it yet. I saw it the first time at midnight in a regular theatre. im going back to see it again cause I enjoyed the entire movie experience, not just because of Ledger, though his performance is Oscar worthy.
