IT was a good flick…But its far from the best film EVER.

Seeing it once was enough till it comes out on DVD. Anyone who plays over the ticket price is a douche bag of Billy Mitchel proportions.

The one thing that sucked about TDK was the theatre ran out of toliet paper. I shouldn’t have to deal with that…….

While the over-hyped nature of opening crowds can be a bit much. We had an amazingly loud group of sold-out seats. People were very excited and talks a lot through the previews. But once the movie started? It got dead quiet.

The crowd was very responsive and at times too excited during certain scenes. But overall they were amazingly well-behaved. It’s just the general excitement of wanting to watch a film that badly. Especially since looking forward to it for so many years.

cib3k I agree on the first half about seeing movies when they come out, but this is the first time I didn’t feel overwhelmed and annoyed by the theatre experience. Usually there always kids talking or cell phone screens lit, but this is the first time I didn’t see that once the movie started. Though the crowded part was an issue. But, I guess alot of people go opening weekend is so they have some water cooler talk the next week.

I never understood why some people need to see a movie the day it opens. The theater is packed, people are noisy, the seats you want are already taken so you have to settle for less, and so on. I always see a movie in the following weeks.

I also don’t believe the hype anymore. There are so many bad movies released lately that when a decent one comes along people are cheering like it’s a damn masterpiece. And I find most of them a real let down. People are too easily entertained nowadays.
