UPDATE 7/20 11 a.m. PDT: ….and The Dark Knight rules all. According to Box Office Mojo, the sequel grossed $155.3 million this weekend, snatching the record for largest weekend opening away from Spider-Man 3 ($151 mil, opened on a holiday wke, no less). However, Spidey 3 still holds the record for biggest Saturday, with TDK dropping 29%, mostly due to Friday’s record-setting midnight shows. DHD reports that several studios are not happy with Warner Bros‘ figures blah blah blah. We’ll update if Peter Parker’s worst movie proves the victor. Did we mention that Slashfilm predicted this before anyone? If you’re wondering, TDK did not gross its budget, set at $180 million, over the weekend. No need to show off.
UPDATE: 07/19 10 a.m. PDT: Wakka Wakka Wakka. The Dark Knight is eating moviegoers’ dollars up like so many power pellets. On Friday alone, Chris Nolan’s now legendary Bat sequel grossed $66.4 million, including $18+ mill in midnight showings. Several analysts say this figure is low, mirroring the first midnight show tallies. According to Box Office Mojo, the current figure places TDK in the record books for top opening day of all time, zooming past Spider-Man 3’s $59+ million last year and POTC: DMC’s $55+ mill the year before. Clearly, the weekend record of $151+ million is obtainable. \o/
Nikki FInke says industry watchers are still being rather conservative, directing their monocles at Saturday to see if grosses rise or fall. The top Saturday gross belongs to Spidey 3, with $51 million. To quote Caddyshack, “It’s in the hole!” In sad news, Hellboy met a grim fate this weekend, with the Tumbler leaving tracks all over his superior (for Hellboy) sequel. In its second weekend, the Del Toro geekgasm tumbled 77%, and it now must battle Space Chimps, like some kinda lame cold, for its dignity (until the DVD). Mamma Mia wind-bagged $25 million, not too shabby, but we all know the cool moms went to see TDK or stayed home and watched classic Brando on TCM.
UPDATED 07/18 10 a.m. PDT: According to DHD, midnight showings for The Dark Knight have shattered the midnight showing record set in 2005 by Stars Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. TDK reportedly racked up $17 million in grosses last night and that number could go higher once final tallies are in, compared to $16 mill for Sith. Moreover, Fandango has announced that the film currently ranks second for Top Advanced Ticket Sales of All Time. It would appear that Slashfilm’s early prediction that TDK would have the largest opening weekend in history might be dead-on.
***********
Last week when Slashfilm boldly predicted that The Dark Knight would blow past the “high” $130 million predictions for its opening weekend and trail blaze into the record books, people called us dos batty. Now, everyone is hopping on. Welcome.
More madness: Twitter has become a screaming tea kettle of NYC early adopters who just realized that IMAX tickets are the new iPhone. Not only are more than 1400 of 1600 IMAX screenings sold-out natiowide, but the tickets are starting to hit eBay. They’re going for as high as $350, and Cinematical reports that two tickets to an NYC showing at 10 a.m. just sold for $89 after 20 bids. Willy Wonka is jelz. If anyone witnesses drive-bys or Joker gangs bumrushing ticket holders tonight, send us pics.
Discuss: Any lewd ticket bargaining going on amongst your friends? Do tell! Any stories from your midnight screenings?

July 17th, 2008 at 1:04 pm
Someone in my high school class bought 85 tickets for the IMAX opening night. I am guessing that there were left over tickets that someone bailed on and most likely on eBay now.
Yah, it’s going to outsell $130.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:16 pm
90$ so you can sit front row on the far left of the screen and stare straight up? no thanks.
I can’t believe I’m going to actually say this but….
ITS JUST A FUCKING MOVIE.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:24 pm
@The Dude: Shame on you.
I’m really mad though I wanted to go to the opening night show, but the theater in my city isn’t having one. :O
July 17th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
@The Dude
Understood, but I would pay good money for an experience.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
i have 5 imax tix. $50 each, any buyers? hahahaha!
anyways, buying a pair of imax tix for $90 is just as stupid as waiting in line for the iphone 3g.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:30 pm
no
July 17th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
yeah, if they set me up to get laid by Jessica Alba after the movie.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:35 pm
as i expected, the dark knight imax tix on craigslist. people are willing to pay for that price.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:39 pm
whats sad is that someone will probably get shot for real over a movie ticket. and i am taking bets on what the headlines are going to say “echoes of PS3 anyone”
July 17th, 2008 at 1:45 pm
Its just a movie.
Im gonna go see it on a Saturday afternoon anyway.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:46 pm
I have to wait until tomorrow night, but at least i have my tix.. paying that much for a movie is crazy.. yes its an experience but since it will be pack for the whole weekend you can have the same experience a little later on.
July 17th, 2008 at 1:49 pm
All tickets have been sold out here in albuquerque for 3 days already. I bought three extra ones for people that show up unprepared and with a fat pocket.
July 17th, 2008 at 2:21 pm
I gave up on midnight screenings (I have to work the damn openings on Friday and Saturday) and I’m just going to head over to the IMAX during the week with a few friends, probably a Tuesday / Wednesday afternoon.
I saw I Am Legend in IMAX day-one, packed house… wasn’t that great of an experience.
July 17th, 2008 at 3:24 pm
No one should pay that much for a movie, no matter how awesome it is. Especially in today’s economic times, most of my money is going to pay for the gas to get me to the IMAX theatre.
July 17th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
That’s damn funny. 90 bucks for a movie you can see a week later for 10.
July 17th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
@ The Dude.
Its not just a movie. Its a film that will change every as we know it. After TDK.. Its gonna be a whole new world.
and youre just jelous cuz We have tickets and you don’t.
July 17th, 2008 at 6:48 pm
wow crazy. you should all just move to hong kong. you never have to line up for a ticket here, cause everything is done online or in advance. you choose your seats and movies open on thursdays. so you get to brag about watching a full day and a half before most of your friends. and imax tickets here are about 12 US dollars or 90 hk dollars. it’s a fun place.
July 17th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
Speaking of world changing events when is that “Cloverfield” flick opening???
July 17th, 2008 at 8:07 pm
fuck no! I mean, what if you don’t even like the Dark Knight. You know how pissed you would be.
July 17th, 2008 at 8:12 pm
@ The Riot
This is true. Whenever someone goes to Hong Kong, they love it for examples like yours.
July 17th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
I just spent 240 dollars for a pair of scalped midnight tickets to see X-Files.
July 18th, 2008 at 11:31 am
Great story. Arclight Hollywood. Midnight showing. Everyone has just seen the bit where Joker carves a smile on Gamble’s face and…
some jerk-off pulls the fire alarm.
The audience nearly incited a riot.
Fifteen minutes later, the movie was up and running again.
AWESOME practical joke. Too bad I’d never have the cajones to do something that mean-spirited. :D
July 18th, 2008 at 11:42 am
LIKE I SAID 161 MILLION, MARK MY WORDS
July 18th, 2008 at 11:46 am
@jimbo so… you need “drawers” to pull that stupid stunt?
i’m hoping to watch the movie tonight.
July 18th, 2008 at 12:11 pm
Yeah, I was at Arclight too, but my screening had started about 10 minutes before the Alarm was pulled. I was all set to stab a fool if I didn’t get to see the movie.
The best part was that everybody in the theater I was in refused to leave the theater. One guy was shouting “It’s a fire alarm, we HAVE to GO.” But people just weren’t having it.
Oh, and if you’re seeing it at Arclight Hollywood, don’t be surprised if your showing is delayed. A friend saw it in the Dome at 6:50 and says they started about 15 minutes late. I guess they tried to save some time for the next showing but shutting the movie off at the end credits, but everybody complained until they put them back on :)
July 18th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
I watched it at midnight in NYC at the theater in Lincoln Square. As it got sooner employees for the theater went to the screen and told the crowd that the movie had been canceled and that tickets and food would be refunded.
One guy in the back got up and started yelling, walking over people, saying he’d waited 3 hours for this. Everyone was tense. The employee said Why so Serious and got out of there.
It was pretty funny literally seeing how much people have invested in this movie.
July 18th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
I don’t understand guys. You act as if that not seeing the midnight showing you don’t really see the film. C’mon.
July 18th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
the midnight show is where it’s at. a ton of painted joker faces, people dressing up, prizes, etc.
it does suck when there’s a kid saying unfunny jokes and a radius of ten people are laughing during a serious part. not cool.
and go this in IMAX. you haven’t seen the movie unless you do this.
July 18th, 2008 at 11:09 pm
I was online at the Lincoln Square IMAX for the 6pm showing, this dude walked up and down the line offering to buy tickets for $150 each. before i had a second to think about it, he bought the 4 he was looking for. he bought 4 tickets for $600.
July 19th, 2008 at 10:28 am
Way to go, TDK!!!
July 19th, 2008 at 10:34 am
the dark knight was a really good movie, but poor hellboy 2. this film doesn’t deserve the death that it is getting trying to beat out crap like space chimps. del toro should have seen this monster (the dark knight) coming and repositioned it.
July 19th, 2008 at 10:40 am
i feel bad for Del Toro, he is really good :(.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:02 am
More proof people are stupid. i’ll see it in a few weeks when the crowds die down and i can get a good seat without hearing babies crying.
and i wouldn’t really use the word “shattered” when comparing 17 to 16, that’s just hyperbole.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:06 am
At our IMAX midnight screening a group of kids dressed up like Harry Potter for the 15 second teaser. They were obviously booed out by all the hardcore Batman fanatics…
July 19th, 2008 at 11:21 am
deserves every penny and them some.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:23 am
$168 Million!!!
July 19th, 2008 at 11:26 am
amen jonny. go get em’ heath.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:30 am
Also does anyone know if this includes IMAX figures?
July 19th, 2008 at 11:32 am
Hah, a buddy of mine’s the manager at the local theater. So yeah. Saw it for free, a night early. It wasn’t a real midnight showing, but it definitely felt pretty VIP. I saw it again yesterday at noon. Pretty satisfying.
It’s pretty sad when movie tickets… MOVIE tickets… Are selling for as much as front-row concert tickets. I mean, I understand the concept of an experience, but you’ve gotta put it in perspective.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:40 am
Wait, who called /Film “batty” for the prediction of a record-breaking opening weekend performance? Almost every comment in that July 11 column vehemently agreed with you.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:45 am
@ Justin
Other sites, not readers.
@ arch
If “shattered” is not appropriate for a movie reaching these heights, when is it? Also, “shattered” is hyperbolic for anything other than kneecaps, so what.
July 19th, 2008 at 11:49 am
i’d love to get a second & third viewing, but the dublin IMAX is sold out til monday.
July 19th, 2008 at 12:00 pm
if John Mcain was hip he would, go see TDK
July 19th, 2008 at 12:12 pm
I have seen it three times now. The real joy from this film is going with friends that haven’t seen it, and knowing exactly what they are feeling and thinking. It’s almost like sharing this amazing secret with your closest friends.
July 19th, 2008 at 12:27 pm
I plan to add to this when I go again tomorrow :)
July 19th, 2008 at 12:41 pm
And Hellboy 2 was great. It’s unfortunate they didn’t find a better date for it. It sucks seeing it get buried like this. I loved that sequel a lot.
Del Toro most likely knew TDK would do really well. But the studios had to have it out asap.
July 19th, 2008 at 12:46 pm
Yeah man, It’s a shame whats happening with Hellboy 2, it’s a great movie..
July 19th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
By the way, haven’t seen TDK, I rather wait some days when I can actually get a nice sit and fully apreciate that IMAX piece of art.
Peace!
July 19th, 2008 at 12:58 pm
Dark Knight sold out two of four prime-time screenings at my theater (6:30, 7, 7:30, 8)… but it sold out the 9:20, 9:50, and 10:20 showings, incredibly.
I’m going on Tuesday afternoon, to the IMAX in Natick MA, to the 1pm matinee with some friends. I figured I’d wait to see it in IMAX, as every showing this weekend sold out.
July 19th, 2008 at 1:18 pm
And look a that, it had a better per theater average than any movie AND it is showing in MORE THEATERS EVER. FUCK YEAH! Best movie ever.
July 19th, 2008 at 1:38 pm
This movie is so totally gonna knock Titanic on it’s high and mighty throne.
July 19th, 2008 at 1:39 pm
This movie is totally gonna knock Titanic off it’s high and might throne.
July 19th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
Mayroth! There is no way in hell Titanic is going down. Everyone at this time last year thought Spider-Man 3 was going to be the one, but look at it now. I know that The Dark Knight is way better than Spider-Man 3, but there is no chance that it reaches 600 million. However, 400 million is not out of the question. I would love to see Titanic get dethroned eventually, but this is not the film that will take it down
July 19th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
I just got my tix for TDK Imax in Nashville on-line for 16 bucks @ 1:30 am, I was gonna see it earlier today but everything until then was sold out, haven’t heard any crazy stories yet.
I went to the midnight showings here in Murfreesboro the other night as well, at the local theater I think at least 14, if not all 16 screens were showing Dark Knight and they were all completely sold out, I had gotten my tix for that showing two days before.
I wouldn’t be surprised if TDK snatches the all time record. Additionally I enjoyed Hellboy II as well, but they definitely should have seen it coming and known better.
July 19th, 2008 at 2:45 pm
Iceberg ahead!!!!
July 19th, 2008 at 2:45 pm
Not surprised at all.
I don’t think it will beat Titanic, but it may come close.
July 19th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
@ Feuer
I think that since Hellboy made most of its money via dvd sales, i don’t think they really planned to make that much more at the box office.
July 19th, 2008 at 3:45 pm
There’s zero chance this will even get close to beating Titanic. ZERO. I know we’re all coming off the euphoria of seeing a movie we liked and it made a lot of money in its first day and fanboys would rather see a movie they like be #1 rather than one they didn’t like but do you understand how much money Titanic made? $1.85 BILLION worldwide. (Return of the King is second place… SEVEN HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS BEHIND; Dead Man’s Chest is in third… another $100 million behind).
Except for the first Spider-man, every movie in the top-20 of worldwide total box office gross made more money overseas than in America… and no Batman movie (except for Batman and Robin) has made more money overseas than in America. Non-Americans don’t seem to be as-interested in Batman as Americans, if we’re to believe history.
But regardless, let’s entertain this idea and assume Dark Knight could beat Titanic. Let’s even get generous and say that Dark Knight matches the best domestic/overseas ratio of any previous Batman movie (so, 45% domestic, 55% overseas).
That means Dark Knight needs to make $830 million domestically and just over $1 BILLION abroad.
Titanic opened in December (a very very weak box-office time of year) and was in the top-10 for six months, making double-digit figures for 4.5 months. For reference: Iron Man (which has a much more universal appeal, as it’s suitable for younger audiences) made double-digit figures for six weeks and tapered off.
A better comparison for Dark Knight may be Dead Man’s Chest but, again, Batman has traditionally not had nearly the international appeal as things like Pirates, the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, or Spider-man and this installment, especially, will not appeal to the fringe audiences that are required to make this get anywhere close to the all-time top-10.
I wish it the best because it was a terrific movie but… Titanic? Come on.
July 19th, 2008 at 3:56 pm
I don’t know if it’s worth anything, but on IMDB’s Top 250 films of all time (a list decided on by fans) it’s currently sitting at #1 after 23,000 votes. Now, granted, it will more than likely drop from that position in the coming weeks, but I think if it is having that high of fan approval, it’ll help bring in the dough, domestically AND overseas. Maybe Titanic’s not in reach, but I think Pirates or LOTR might be.
July 19th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
impressive but I’m certain this trend won’t continue. It’s a very looooong movie and a matrix reloaded. Some brilliant parts sprinkled on a pile of talking.
July 19th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
It cannot beat Titanic, it’s impossible. And this movie is not better than The Godfather or Star Wars V or any of the LOTR movies. It could be in the top 10 movies of all time but it is not above any of the movies i just mentioned.
July 19th, 2008 at 4:39 pm
Superman.
You’re one of the poorest trolls next to Jerry on this site. I would buy the two of you being the same person.
July 19th, 2008 at 4:50 pm
@ Aaron, good point about Hellboy and dvd sales, you’re probably right there.
July 20th, 2008 at 6:53 am
Yeah I feel bad for Hellboy2, what a great film !!!!!
Also Hunter, nice read,……… ;-)
July 20th, 2008 at 7:40 am
when do we see saturday’s numbers?
July 20th, 2008 at 11:12 am
RECORD ACHIEVED!
It has reached 155,3 million dollars in its first weekend!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
July 20th, 2008 at 11:26 am
Do weekend box office results not include Sunday?
July 20th, 2008 at 11:49 am
@ hunter
promise im not here to give you a bad time today! when you say they’re unhappy with WB figures, what are they upset with? are they saying WB is giving false numbers?
July 20th, 2008 at 12:09 pm
Warner Execs are a bunch of pansies. So what if the movie hasn’t made its money back. I give it till the end of this week to make 200. I’m sure a lot of people couldn’t get tickets or some wanted to wait until the hype died down. I’m going again this week.
July 20th, 2008 at 12:15 pm
What you talking about Ricky? Its not Warner Bros that are complaining its the other studios. Warner didn’t expect the budget to be made back they estimated the weakend haul on the low side like 100 mil or something like that. But, yes it will make 200 million by the end of the week if not probably mid-week.
July 20th, 2008 at 12:20 pm
I’m only seeing it in IMAX and the earliest screening I could get tickets to were Thursday. THURSDAY! Fuck all
July 20th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
In your face, VENOM hahaha
July 20th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
OWNED
July 20th, 2008 at 1:25 pm
imdb.com just counted 23k more votes and TDK is still #1
July 20th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
Ok I was confused why they were mad but I see why now. Basically the other studios are upset because they think Warner Bros is lying about how much money they actually made and they think there just making the numbers bigger so they can say they broke all these records. And the excuse there using is Speed Racer. They said Speed Race made so much money and it ended up being wrong.
July 20th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
So I went back to the DHD site and was reading some comments and those people are stupid. Talking about how the movie only beat Spiderman by 2 million and because of that they view Dark Knight as a total failure. And that the amount it did earn doesn’t really count because tickets to Spiderman were less expensive back when it came out. Those people make no sense once so ever and I think I’ll just stay over here at /film.
But this one comment did give me a good laugh…
You have to be CRAZY to think Dark Knight is appropriate for any children under 10 or even under 13 probably. It’s absolutely chock full of wall-to-wall psychological horror. The world view it presents is as grim, tragic and sorrowful as can be. And people were saying WALL-E was not a film directed for children. LOL. Wait’ll they get a load of this one. It’s amazing how much the character has transformed in the media from the 1960s TV show to this. I wonder what kind of Power Rangers films they’ll be making in 2035.
July 20th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
You’re right Billy. I read the facts wrong. My mistake.
July 20th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
I saw this at the Opry Mills Imax at 1:30 this morning…first movie I’ve ever seen in Imax….I think my cerebellum fused during the movie…
July 20th, 2008 at 2:35 pm
155 is a success especially considering that The Dark Knight is not kid friendly like other movies.
July 20th, 2008 at 3:29 pm
It’s weird in your vested interest to make this movie #1 you would dismiss DHD’s WB’s numbers considering they just got nailed for doing this exact thing - inflating numbers with Speed Racer a couple of months ago.
Even if they hadn’t had this under them, sites like this are so over the moon for this film, they wouldn’t give it any credence regardless which i just find really odd that anyone would get behind anything enough to be blind to any counter-intuitive news, but i guess that’s super-vested people do.
July 20th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
Funny thing when watching TDK, not once did I think about how much money it would make over the weekend…….
July 20th, 2008 at 3:51 pm
790: and you still enjoyed it?!??!? ;)
July 20th, 2008 at 3:52 pm
“Last week when Slashfilm boldly predicted that The Dark Knight would blow past the “high” $130 million predictions for its opening weekend and trail blaze into the record books, people called us dos batty. Now, everyone is hopping on. Welcome.”
Yeah, that is the most annoying statement I’ve read on this site. No one is going to suck your tit now because you think you’re the only one who thought it was going to do amazing.
July 20th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
Copy That !!!!! Playlist ! ;-)
July 20th, 2008 at 4:38 pm
@ the Playlist
Your opinion is like walking into a Brooklyn loft party. You will spout contrarian views and blah blah blah. You’ll dismiss this movie b/c so many people like it, and you know it, so you will try to make your review extra witty. Get over yourself. You said it wouldn’t gross over $150 b/c Americans won’t support a “dark picture,” and now you are backtracking b/c Americans will watch anything that is popular. Blah blah blah. You are boring, even with $10 words and the endorsement of Jeff Wells. Have fun. The entire world is against you, act accordingly.
July 20th, 2008 at 4:47 pm
What? I don’t dismiss it at all. I thought it was great, i guess you missed that. I said i thought people might not support it because ” it does seem a little too dark for mass consumption,” but does that seem like a declarative statement to you? I’m honestly a little shocked you go on the attack so easily. I said i thought it was “weird” people are so vested. I didn’t say you should all be shot and you have no friends, sheesh.
July 20th, 2008 at 4:47 pm
I never understood why some people need to see a movie the day it opens. The theater is packed, people are noisy, the seats you want are already taken so you have to settle for less, and so on. I always see a movie in the following weeks.
I also don’t believe the hype anymore. There are so many bad movies released lately that when a decent one comes along people are cheering like it’s a damn masterpiece. And I find most of them a real let down. People are too easily entertained nowadays.
July 20th, 2008 at 4:48 pm
@ Playlist
Dude, you are sooooo right. You’re such a rebel. You support “real films” I forgot. Go fuck yourself.
“to be blind to any counter-intuitive news, but i guess that’s super-vested people do.”
/Film is so super-vested, no, we’re just 1000x bigger than your site. You are on the curb in India. Enuff.
July 20th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
You’re funny. Sorry i ruffled your feathers. Back to your regularly scheduled program.
July 20th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
cib3k I agree on the first half about seeing movies when they come out, but this is the first time I didn’t feel overwhelmed and annoyed by the theatre experience. Usually there always kids talking or cell phone screens lit, but this is the first time I didn’t see that once the movie started. Though the crowded part was an issue. But, I guess alot of people go opening weekend is so they have some water cooler talk the next week.
July 20th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
The Playlist,
I thought you were cool…You’re acting more and more like every self-righteous internet blogger trying to stir up the pot for some hits. Throwing arounf that “indie” badge. Give me a break.
Maybe you should solely stick to just criticizing “music” in films again. It was better that way.
Hunter, I love you :D
July 20th, 2008 at 5:15 pm
cib3k,
While the over-hyped nature of opening crowds can be a bit much. We had an amazingly loud group of sold-out seats. People were very excited and talks a lot through the previews. But once the movie started? It got dead quiet.
The crowd was very responsive and at times too excited during certain scenes. But overall they were amazingly well-behaved. It’s just the general excitement of wanting to watch a film that badly. Especially since looking forward to it for so many years.
July 20th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
who else was finally feeling closure that Dark Knight was finally coming out and then Warner Bros. slapped you in the face with watchmen? dam you warner bros
July 20th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
jerry,
haha I said that many times in the week leading to the release of TDK. That I can finally have a stress-free period because I’ve been so amped to see it. And now it starts all over again waiting for The Watchmen.
My childish heart will burst.
July 20th, 2008 at 6:04 pm
beers on me. i love slashfilm readers. you guys are so awesome
one day we shallllllllllllll meet.
July 20th, 2008 at 6:19 pm
Free Beer !!!!!!!!!!!! Whooo hooo !!!!!!!
Oooooooohhh. Beeeeeeeeeer …………

IT was a good flick…But its far from the best film EVER.
Seeing it once was enough till it comes out on DVD. Anyone who plays over the ticket price is a douche bag of Billy Mitchel proportions.
