The promo promises that “Good will Battle Evil”. Heroes Season 3 “Villains” will premiere on Monday, September 22nd 2008.

Best tv show ever. Not like Lost, which is now very borring.

Meh.
Heroes season 1 was basically this whole hyping up to what the other seasons would be. but that failed miserably in season 2.
The things I hate bout heroes.
1. The future plot device. Its annoying. Blah why does everything happen? because its to do with the future!
2. NO BLOODY FIGHTS IN THE SERIES! they have awesome powers, but do they ever use it for cool stuff? no, they just have angsty problems.
3. Lame villains. Sylar? Comon.

Lost is only boring if you’re too dense to follow the story, and Heroes is like the Seinfeld of Sci-Fi. It’s a drama about nothing. Trailer looks good until Claire goes to cheese factor nine with “I always loved you Peter.” Did they get they guys from Superhero Movie writing the show?

I really hope season three is better than season two, which was an abomination. If season three sucks, I will no longer watch the show.
Sylar is awesome. I don’t care what anyone else says.

Choose a side, join the fight. . . .what an x-men rip off. .. I liked the first season but the second was terrible. . . . and if this is another peter exploring his angst series i’ll puke. but wait, I might not even see it. oh well.

Don’t even attempt to compare Lost and Heroes. The stories told in Lost are leagues greater than in Heroes.
Heroes is an underwritten, overhyped piece of crap where little to no story progression occurs but the target audience doesn’t realize it because they introduce a new character every week. They overload their with characters so that very little worthwhile character development actually happens, as opposed to Lost which, although having a large cast of characters, has character centric episodes which sees to it that almost every character gets proper development. And if you really want to compare writing, then here’s a little snippet of dialogue from the first season finale:
“You saved the cheerleader, so WE could save the world.”
If you think that this is an even remotely good line, then promptly bash yourself in the face with your computer monitor until you start to draw blood because even a brain damaged person knows that line sucks.
And no matter what way you look at it, Heroes is undeniably an X-Men ripoff.

Lost > Heroes
X-Men > Heroes
Seinfeld > Heroes
Heroes > A lot of other shows on network TV, like Wipeout
Heroes is still a great show though. I really enjoy it and this 3rd season looks to be killer. However, unlike Lost, this is going to he one of those shows where the writers have no idea where they’re going and will just keep making episodes until the auidence doesn’t care anymore, at which point they’ll end the series and ultimatley, I hope it won’t be for nothing.

Hopefully this will be better than the crappy 9 episode second season, writere strike or not that was going nowhere…..

So Peter has his scar now?
Also, imo, the writers strike saved Heroes. It gave them an opportunity to abort that train wreck of a second season without losing any more fans than they already did. They really need to pull out all the stops with the beginning of this season. I’m sure there are many people, myself included, that are only willing to give this show 1-2 more episodes to recapture us.

funny I liked the 2nd season except for the things happening too fast in the finale and a few of the new characters.
An x-men rip-off? …….what?
Besides mutations and days of future past what else have they really taken? I mean I saw the Watchmen homage as well as many to a great deal of comic books but I wouldn’t say the entire show is an x-men rip-off. Oh wait were you watching Mutant X? now that show was horrible and had no progression

Hm.. I like heroes. Cant wait 3rd season to begin..
Many of you have written taht second season was crap.. I liked 2nd season much more than first! I hated the “save the cheerleader-save the world” plot and I loved peter evolvment and also hero being in the past.
Can’t wait for the 3rd season

I for one loved both series and was sad to see it end so abruptly. Being form the UK I couldn’t view the Webisodes as they were “out of range”, ow whatever the lame excuse they used was! I’m totally looking forward to the 3rd series; have no idea when I’ll get 2 see it but come 22nd Sept i’ll be scouring the net 2 find a loop hole-believe me! :D

I find it funny how all you people who say you dislike this show, or hate it, are looking at the season 3 trailer right now. That’s very strange. Heroes is a good show, along with lost. If you don’t like it then why are you here?
August 15th, 2008 at 5:24 am
So true.. everyone bitches and moans but they are scouring the net looking for anything “Heroes” they could find to downsize it. Heroes is a great show. I will admit they have to kill off some lame characters like Nikki/Jessica, Micah but for the most part it is a very good show. I’ve watched all the episisodes and some of them are jawdropping and make you think. If you don’t like the show don’t come and comment. Obviously you must believe in it to be on it’s sack and balls.
