Then why come on here if you don’t like Star Trek. I don’t like Lost or 24, but don’t go on other Blogs writing shit to wind the fans up. It is the most successful Sci Fi franchise of all time, so what does that suggest about your childish comments? I think this film will do well. Abrams is a fan and his recent films have all done pretty good at the box office. I think the world is ready for a new Star Trek film after all these years.

I’ve always found every iteration of Star Trek I’ve ever seen to be campy and lame. I like J.J.’s work, so maybe I’ll see it on DVD or something…Looks kinda shitty still. I’ve never understood why anyone really likes Star Trek, its chock full ‘o corn terrible acting, and reminds me of Days of Our Lives in space…a.k.a.: bad.

On a serious note, I think this movie will be pretty good. As much as I hate the word in talking about a series, I think a “reboot” was definitely in order for Star Trek. I am interested in seeing the theatrical trailer soon.
