Fortunately, it looks like it will finally hit stateside this fall on the Fox Reality Channel, and they’re sparing no expense to promote it. On July 31st, for one night only, select theatres across the U.S. will be screening a special two-hour “Director’s Cut” of Long Way Down. From what I understand, this probably just covers the first couple of episodes, but I think the whole series is being recut and extended to 10 episodes for the U.S. release. I love travel documentaries, and the camaraderie between Ewan, Charley and their crew is just infectious. Check out the link below to find a screening near you, and you can also listen to a special interview with Ewan McGregor over at /Film.
