He’s does need permission if wishes to use intellectual property of Star Trek/Paramount. Like he had with Lucas. The music and effects were not parody. They were the actual dupes. Thanks to Lucas’ personal love for the show.

The Robot Chicken parody was hilarious. Blue Harvest was a slow motion train wreck.

I let go of my pride and distaste for Family Guy, and finally watched Blue Harvest upon several recommendations from my friends. I wish I hadn’t. There was not a single moment in that special that I found funny.

I love Family Guy, I really don’t care what anyone says. I did like the Robot Chicken parody better, but Blue Harvest is still awesome.
I can’t wait for Empire Strikes Back and Wrath of Khan episodes!
Two of my favorite things, FG and SW/ST, mixed into one!
