they might be mindless trash but i guess you’re too short-minded to realize how good movies inspired from COMIC BOOKS can be and how much potential they still have( ex. The Dark Knight)

I was playing this game the other day, and that cheesy look out of the gun barrels is exactly what the flames look like when you go pause the game in the middle of firing.

Is it just me, or did it look like Mark Walhberg tripped over himself in an attempt to dive in bullet time?

Wahlberg is perfect for the role. I mean, I’d loved Clive Owen in that role, too but don’t forget: Basically Max Payne IS a simple revenge story. I don’t think, there’s much more hidden in it.

(And I played the game and enjoyed it)

By looks of it the movie seems very R with the drug stuff and the demons. I think all the people with the demons are seeing max payne’s demons when he kills them or they die. Like the guy in the sub way seeing the the light that was a train.

Funny that you mention Tom Jane considering Max Payne plot wise is a complete rip on The Punisher. Mob/Secret Society/Drug Dealers kill protagonist’s family. he then loses his job and goes apeshit. The only real difference is the John Woo-like cinematography.

But to defend Max Payne the game. It did actually have bullet time built into the game long before The Matrix was ever released, even though the game itself was not out on shelves..
