Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Debut Trailer

EW.com has premiered a new trailer for LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I haven’t played a Star Wars video game for years, but that might change as some cool games are on the horizon: Forced Unleashed and the upcoming lightsaber game for the Nintendo Wii. Obviously the selling point of The Force Unleashed is that you get to use your awesome force abilities to an extent that was only hinted at in the films. And the story looks very promising. Although I must warn you, the end of the clip shows a fight sequence which could probably be considered a major (but expected) spoiler.

    Man, this game looks so damn sweet - the graphics have certainly been tuned since I last saw a trailer.

    Just me or did that final sequence with him and Vader look horrible?

    And, what's the point of the lightsaber? If you wield the force infinitely better than any other Jedi in existence, you should just walk around and fling them into space instead of fighting with a lightsaber.

    Just to add to the fire, this game is not ALL about the force. Your going to kick the shit out of these guys but HOW your going to kick the shit out of them is up to you!

    haven't played a star wars game in years? try battlefront II. before all the hype about the force unleashed, that game was by far the best star wars game to date. I could easily say I lost a good year of my life to it

    The Force Unleashed should have been the basis for the upcoming theatrical release and series, and the Clone Wars should have remained just a game.

    You know, the BIG thing I hate is that the trailer shows you splitting and AT-ST right down the middle, cleaving it in two.

    Then the next scene shows you tossing your saber a a bunch of wookies, cutting trees in half, and the wookies just flying backwards.

    I don't want blood or anything but come on, Anakin sliced off a few heads, hands and legs, can't we do the same?
