Spiderman3 ssssssucked fanboy d! Maybe they should have tried a Spiderman3D instead, much like JAWS 3D. It couldn’t have hurt. Afterall, both movies were equally as bad and totally didn’t live up to the franchise’s previous two.

Ironman rocks! The all-time best superhero movie to date!

this is great to hear, but im really stressed out about this release date. i dont mind waiting 3 or 4 years for iron man 2 as long as it is as good or better than the first one, which at this point is my favorite superhero movie of all time.. i think it is time for a petition.

This is really good news.

The three year wait is worth it to get a quality finished product. I just hope they can come up with an interesting villian next time.

At least they’re being realistic. I still think they’ll do great things with this franchise. I think Spider-Man 3 just had the stakes too high and everyone tried to add so much to make it better. With Iron Man being pretty minimal (i.e. they only had one villain–besides the terrorists–and he didn’t show up ’til the end), I think they won’t pile on too much in the second.

I’m sure they’ve got a decent plan in place. Favreau doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy to take a payday and piss off fans. This is fantastic news - the first one was friggin’ AMAZING! It’s my 2nd favorite superhero film… but will probably get knocked to 3rd in a week…
