Somedays I wish I could post two or three videos in VOTD. But the title of the daily column is kind of limiting. I just came across this wonderful video clip from Corey Haim and Corey Feldman’s A&E reality show The Two Coreys which shows Haim having a mental breakdown on the set of The Lost Boys 2. We really really want to support Haim, but it’s hard to get someone who is ready to self destruct at any given moment. Check it out below.

I have seen a DvD review of this and it is nor very good.

Hope that Crank 2 works out better.

  2. Gravatar

Why, for the love of God, is Feldman dressed like Rambo?

Who does he think he’s kidding?

  3. Gravatar

Yeah Peter, what’s happened to this kid?
Pull it together Corey!!! Come on bro!

  4. Gravatar

Damn man what’s wrong with him man. Fucking sad to see him like that.

  5. Gravatar

I dunno… but that seemed fake to me. maybe to promote their show with some outrageous moments

  6. Gravatar

Any you guys remember Feldman on the Channel 9 “Howard Stern Show”. It was the episode that Howard put on a disco party (I’m too sexy) romp.
Corey was trying to break out as a Pop star and sang a song…. (Yikes).

    Man what a trainwreck.
Heehee,, Sorry Corey. Come on man chill out and have a lite beer.

  7. Gravatar

He’s not going to promote being a raving asshole. Too bad, I used to look up to him as a kid… What a loser.

  8. Gravatar

and.. people think this is real?

  9. Gravatar

You guys do know that “reality show” of theirs is scripted right? That’s about as real as the shark in Jaws.

  10. Gravatar

I agree with people who say this looks fake and/or scripted. There was so obviously hyped up “drama” here that just doesn’t happen like this in real life. I felt like I was watching scenes from some movie just watching this video.

  11. Gravatar

im so curious to see if crank 2 puts this guy back on the map.

  12. Gravatar

I don’t know. I think Corey Haim is so desperate for fame that he is hoping that the Danny Bonaduce reality show meltdown method might be the best way to kickstart his career. Bonaduce got a sidekick role on the Adam Corrolla show because of his reality show (although he blew that opportunity). Corey Feldman has been quoted that the first season of the Two Coreys was total staged and fake and only about 10% of it was real. I am a bit skeptical of how real Haim’s drug abuse meltdown is real and how much of it is just a sad attempt of a washed up actor to gain attention. Seriously, did Haim really forget he was miked?

As for Lost Boys 2, Corey Feldman’s lame outfit and wig tell me that the production value of this movie is going to be exactly what you would expect out of a direct to video release. As I do with 99.99999% of those direct to video releases, I will avoid Lost Boys 2.

  13. Gravatar

I really hope Haim can pull it together I believe its tough But I think he can do it.

  14. Gravatar

I think it would have been funny if Feldman never once looked up from the assistant’s chest while talking to her. Opportunity missed.

  15. Gravatar

    @gocitizen

    That’s his wife.

  16. Gravatar

Both are channeling early 90’s Mickey Rourke minus the huge muscles, but retaining the same puffy faces and rock bottom behavior. Their faces look plastic!!! So So So So FREAKY!

  17. Gravatar

It’s prety obvious Corey Haim is a totally self destructive person. He should kiss WB ass for writing a part for him in the DVD sequel.
I sorta like Feldman and Im glad they brought him back. The Frog Bros are great characters. I hope Lost Boys 2 has some entertainment value. That reality show on A&E is like watching a train wreck but that’s what reality shows are all about.

  18. Gravatar

This is sad. Man-up you pussy.

  19. Gravatar

I remember Corey Haim in the movie Lucas and thought he had a Big future ahead of him. Look at him not.
He finally gets a part in a movie and he is blowing it all over again.
    Pathetic.

  20. Gravatar

Haim the loser? Look at fledman……………25 years later and he’s wearing the same exact clothes from Lost Boys 1! 8p

  21. Gravatar

Hey, we might be treated to an honest to god reality show suicide. You all know that weather its this program or another, these producer types want action from explosive personalities. Someone’s gonna OD or swallow a bullet. Haim might as well at this point, because he’s totally douched his career into the toilet.

  22. Gravatar

Okay, first of all, if it were ANY of us in his shoes we would have done the same thing. You can pretend to be better than him, but NONE of us are better than each other. His biggest fear is failure. He has followed his dream regardless of all the haters out there and pushed through any negative feed back. Which is hard to do and especially hard to do on your own. He finally gets the oppertunity he deserves and and has a ton of pressure on him to be great and not dissappoint anyone. He has the Feldman’s watching his every move and here is the big day. Nerves and self pressure get to him and he draws a blank. Gets frusterated and embaressed, and he freaks a tad bit. I think if that snotty producer guy or ANYONE for that matter had given him a minute to calm down and God forbid a little encouragment and said, ” Hey kid you are doing great. Just take a step back and don’t sweat the small stuff.” He would have been fine. Further more, back off people. He did not go do a crap ton of drugs, you all are so over dramatic. Most drug addicts are prescribed pills to calm their nerves so in moments of pressure they will not go back to using. He took a pill! Shit, so what? Any of us would have in that situation and being him.
Corey Feldman was in the same shoes. We gave him a chance, and he had his wife to keep him streight and give support. He made a great come back, he has a home, a wife, a son, a very good head on his shoulders, a sense of self, and an awesome career. Not to mention a lot of tallent! Now back the crap off of Haim and do him a solid. So what if it took him a little longer to get there. He fought his demonds, did all of this on his own, and he too has a lot of tallent, he appreciates his fans, has a place, a sense of self, and he is being honest with the world. No images, what you see is what you get and I love that! Haim, NEVER give up! You have fans out there, and we love you and want to see you make it in the acting world! I can not wait to see you make it big again and you are well on your way there! Believe in yourself, we love ya!

  23. Gravatar

Oh and by the way, for the person that said wathcing The Two Coreys on A&E is like watching a train wreck, YOU STILL WATCH IT DUMB ASS! Ergo, good career move boys ( Feldman and Haim)! You did it cuz ya know we will watch it and the more dramatic the more people will watch it. So, you are making the money and on the air if it is bad or good! You are getting fans on the good and the bad.
I think you are both being REAL with the world and that takes guts!
We see the good and the tallent and the drive, and the humor. We also see the struggles and the heart, and the true life of it. Life is not perfect and is full of drama, fights, and flaws.
If any of these people had the nerve to show all of their insecurities, I would watch pigs fly.

Please Please Please put all that motivation to get high into motivation on set! We know what you can do, its only the issues in your head defeating you. Hey, at least you didnt look as retarded on LB2 as CF… you’re on Crank 2 for Christs sake! CF is off directing C class movies and pimping out his wife. You have the performance in you, all you need to do is step into the moment each day this year and you can get the piece that has been heading your way. There is a perfect part for you and you have to get out there and find it. Look, there are two ways you can go here 1) legend blown out like Ledger … or 2) put it back together like Downey Jr. You know the way to do this, I know you do, and you’ve got to drop the trash finally!

  25. Gravatar

All hail Andi!!! Andi has a way of puttin down the words we all feel and follow. Good job. enough said.

I watched this episode last night expecting it to be raped with Lost Boys 2: The Tribe dvd promos but instead got nothing. I was shocked because this tv spot seemed lke this best time, if any, to promote the crap out of it, considering 1.) it’s the two coreys who the movie (should) circle around and 2.) 95% of the episode focused on lost boys 2. I suddenly came to the realization as the show wrapped and the credits were rolling that perhaps Warner Bros. may not have wanted their movie to be associated with Haim being such a douche bag (and this opinion comes from a long standing coreys fan!). I now get why Feldman can come off as such an ass to Haim and this is a perfect example. If Warner Bros. had decided to actually use this episode of the Two Corey’s to promote Lost Boys 2: The Tribe then it could have equalled bigger success of the movie and Feldman, Haim and anyone else associated with the production(even though in the reality of things if you watched this episode and didn’t catch the fact that there is a Lost Boys 2 then you’re a bigger douche then Haim, but you catch my drift). I understand that Haim was probably nervous but that doesn’t excuse him arguing with the producer and making people wait. What he doesn’t get is it wasn’t as much fact that he was forgetting and slurring his lines, but his shitty, self-assured attitude. This is perhaps one of the most purists examples caught on film as to what happens to some of our favorite actors in Hollywood and why some just don’t make movies anymore.
On a positive note though, if they ever decide to make a Goonies 2 (which God only know the answer to that one after years of online rumors) Haim won’t be able to screw this long awaited sequel up. No, no. Warner Bros. will be able to take all the credit for that one when they release it STRAIGHT TO DVD! Oh wait thats Lost Boys 2! You know I wish there were Superheros that instead of defeating supervillains they just wrote sequels to our most loved movies

Well I think we can all agree that at the end of the day it’s not Haim who fucked this movie up, but good old Warner Bros. with their lame ass excuse for a script and this straight to DVD bullshit (because you’re damn right I would have paid for a ticket to see Feldman in action on the big screen!). How hard is it to find a fan who cares enough to write a script with a little heart and imagination as opposed to some jackass trying to get a paycheck! Well Warner Bros. if your reading this comment, I’m your man for that job and even though Lost Boys 2 is a lost cause at this point, I’ve had the perfect basis for a Goonies 2 script floating in my head for years! Give me the green light and I’ll start actually writing it! The good thing with that is that Haim can’t mess that one up but… oh yeah thats right, Warner Bros. will take care of that one! Way to go Warner Bros!!!

Oops! Sorry those 2 comments got screwed up.

Feldman is dress like rambo cause when they were gonna film the first lost boys the director told corey to watch the rambo’s films to get the rambo attitude into corey’s character.By the way they say this show is not real so is this scene here real?Cause sometimes it looks really real either cause they are great actors or the show is real.

I really hope that Corey Haim can get it together as well. I do think that if he wants it badly enough and gets his $H!T together he can get back into acting and be a success. He needs to do more soul searching and have faith. Come on Corey! You can do it Dude!

    Forever a Corey Haim Fan

I just watched The Lost Boys 2 last night and I was expecting so much more. There is a reason it went straight to DVD. I spent much of the movie looking for Corey Haim only to find he has this little nothing role at the very end. He must have spent hours in make-up for the 2 seconds he spent on film. It was really sad, I feel bad for him but, then again he is doing this to himself and I guess it was good for Feldman to throw him a bone and get him any role in the film

i just sat through the entire Lost Boys 2, which was NOT great.. and I sat through Feldman’s BAD acting (he sounded absolutely ridiculous deepening his voice, it sounded much better when he was younger).. and on the credits of the movie, along with IMDB.com it says that Haim is in the movie but he ISNT! I sat through the WHOLE thing for NOTHING!! I’m so confused- why is it saying he’s in it when he’s clearly not????!
