Remember when Michael Bay revealed that his Awesome idea to have a transforming aircraft-carrier in Transformers was cut due to budgetary concerns? Well, apparently the idea was more than just an idea, because Transformers artist Tim Flattery recently released a batch of his concept art from the original film, and one of the pieces shows a aircraft carrier which transforms into a massive Decepticon (or is that Autobot Broadside?). How cool is that?

Bay teased last year, that the idea might end up “maybe [in] another movie, that’ll get the fans talking!” But earlier this year producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura denied rumors that the idea would find a home in the sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
