Rise of the Machines was personally for me a massive failure and contrary to what the first and second films were trying to achieve. Hopefully Salvation follows on from Judgment Day and continues along the same brutal, cold & dark lines as the first 2 films and the very same lines as ‘the Sarah Connor Chronicles’ is! I’m not convinced as a fan of the first 2 films Christian Bale will be able to carry off the role as John Connor but if this is only to be a supporting role time will tell :)

BaronSolid, didn’t you hear that street signs in America are all bullet proof now, so that in case of robot attack that can also double as shielding from T-600’s.

Yeah the T-600’s should in a twisted kind of way look something like Jason from Halloween. ( Rubber skin ).

Hmm so the T-600’s arnt human looking? From what you say Jezzus they run on tracks ? If that’s true that’s inconsistant with what Kyle Reese tells Sarah in T1. ;-(

The T-600’s are built by these huge mechanical arms that are now under the control of the machines (skynet). They run on tracks and are the predecessors to the ones that can actually walk. which I’m guessing are the ones we see at the beginning of T2.

They have the mock ups of all the vehicles and robots that will be in the movie under TIGHT security. My friend has seen them though and he said they look really cool.

The last time I saw a T-600 was when it was popping out of the water in the sewer/flooded area. They spent a lot of time filming this scene. The way they escape the area is cool. It involves a water charge.

I’m sick of everybody ripping on T3. Yes, T2 is undoubtedly the best in the series, and no, T3 didn’t have the same impact effects-wise as its predecessors. Still, the whole story about the inevitability of judgment day was intriguing.

I think T4 has the same writers as T3, which to me is a GOOD thing. Can’t wait to see where they take the story…

This set is just about a half a mile away from ABQ studios and I think these were being shot in mid-day to late afternoon. I know that when they blew it up, which was CRAZY, it was in the day.

The rest of the time was spent at ABQ studios, in the underground flooded sewers.

And about these PG-13 rumors….all I got to say is…

How the heck did I miss the info that Jonah Nolan had a hand in the script? I am getting old…
It’s kind of unclear how much he has worked on it(’going over it’ doesn’t exactly sound like a page 1 rewrite), but just knowing he was involved(The Prestige is one of my favorite flicks) makes me willing to risk taking a bite out of this turd sandwich.

So “Project Angel”, that refers to the rumors that we heard concerning a retro T-800 model called Markus. The same one that becomes John Connor.
Blaaah.

They could have shot those scenes in the California desert. There’s dead towns all over the Victorville area that look just like that.
And how do these shots convey how good the movie will be?

Incredible Hulk forgetable? Man I thought that was one of the best films this summer. And T3 kicked ass , all allways defend that film cause it rocked !
