Well, even in Goblet of Fire you had a deviation from the book. But, that was more to keep away from the Elf situations. These movies are still very entertaining and visually stunning. I'm a big fan and can't wait for the last (split in two) movie.

So is Emma Watson naked in this one? Because I've watched every one and have been dissapointed every time.

According to an interview with JK Rowling from a while back the reason she did her deal with Warner Bros was because, as well as the money, they promised that the movies would remain loyal to the story line of the books. Certain features can be changed but the final two movies will have to stay loyal to the major events of the final book (deaths and all).

I'm beginning to think Daniel Radcliff will have grey hair by the last installment.

i frickin love the potter films, and am sooooo glad they moved away from the chris columbus bullshit in the first 2. Cuaron should be credited as the catalyst for this series.

word around is that this movie split into two halfs. due to lack of information and cutting out of all the other books, and plus how long the book was, this is cut into two films for how they plan to release it. :/ enjoy lol

The Harry Potter books were fantastic. JK Rowling is a genious. The movies are very good also and are an artform all their own. Although they do not follow the books to the letter, that provides a nice surprise when you see the movie. It is one of the reasons I like the movies, to see what they changed, because it would be boring to see the exact same story you have already read. Your imagination is always better than anything they can put on film.

I just want to say that both the books and the films are brilliant. I think that in order to fully appreciate both you just have to look at them separately as a book and a film and not as complete adaptations of each other. They are all amazing.

@Brandon it's not this movie that they're splitting in half but the one based off of the final novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Jeezalaweez! You are Picky if you think the Potter Movies are bad! Did you ever read Eragon? The best way to describe the movie would be to take the book, shove it into a blender, add some fresh poo, blend it, then only poor a third of it out. Worst book gone movie EVER! Although I don't like what this new director is doing with the 6th one, either... (he even talks about how harry and ginny "almost kiss" but then the bloody death eaters come) What the french toast?!!! I don't remember that at all! The only thing I remember is Harry kissing ginny after they had won the quiditch cup. The new director is, on the other hand, making it a very good movie for some one to watch who has only watched the movies... so i suppose i will just shut my mouth and enjoy the movie when it rolls around...

... By the way, is anyone else excited about the wizarding world of harry potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure? It opens late 2009 and I am sooo excited!

Well every one has an opinion, on harry potter, some people think its evil, and others think its just plain cute.

I personally love harry potter, its wonderful. I will go and see the movie too. And get the CD, And DVD of it. I do have some of the books on audio, and all the movies on DVD.

I hope JK Rowlings does write some more books like this.
