the art looks very fantastic, kind of reminds me of the beautiful oil painting style in the 1989 graphic novel “arkham asylum: hell on earth.”

Thats perfect.

Nolan and his team have really carved out a great and iconic style for this character. One of the coolest marketing campaigns thus far.

So many great works have come out of the movie. They should have an art exhibition specifically for The Dark Knight.

i just watched gotham knight yesterday and it totally deserves a theatrical release of it’s own. especially the last story with dead shot. i was SO happy they brought back the voices from the original animated series.
those, along with mark hamill’s joker, are the best!

yeahhh i’m taking this file down to my local print shop and having it printed in poster size (or whatever size it’ll take without losing image quality. can’t wait. it’ll be right next to The Dude, Daniel Plainview, and Raoul Duke.

The mouth on the right is from the first picture of the Joker that was revealed back on the ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com page (remember those heady days… so long ago now).

i thought that maybe one of the eyes may be the jokers as well, but i don’t think so…

Yeah that looks very cool.
I remember about a year ago 3 random guys came into my friends comic book store and looked around and then left all at the same time.
He didn’t notice it until later but he found Joker playing cards scattered all throughout the store, same kind as on the poster and there were alternate (character) designs as well. These guys were going into comic stores and leaving these Joker cards to promote the movie that long ago.
I think I saved a few but they were literally just regular playing cards you get in any deck.
