While I do like the look of the Chris Sanders film better, this doesn’t look half as bad as I thought it would. John Travolta’s voice goes surprisingly well with the dog, he doesn’t do that bad of a job. As for the other characters (the cat and the hamster), they don’t seem all that endearing to me, but certainly better than the annoying pig, the revolting-looking duck, and the fish from Chicken Little. The main thing that is bugging me about this is Miley Cyrus’s voice (especially hearing her say “Daddy”), but at least her character doesn’t look like her.

This movie may be okay. When it comes to animated films, I usually do turn to the reviews to help myself decide if a film is worth seeing. I’m seeing Wall-E today, and I’m positive I’ll love it. When it comes to Pixar, critics are right on spot. Bolt, however, will need to garner an 80 percent or higher on Rotten Tomatoes for me to see it in theaters. It’s not that I rely on critics for opinions, its just that when it comes to animated films, I tend to agree with the majority.

Well, it definitely won’t be the Chris Sanders film that was originally planned, but the characters look cute and endearing to say the least. I love the pigeons. Reminds me of the Animaniac’s gangster pigeons — now that’s a feature length film I’d like to see developed :)

I think a better casting decision would be to go with tim allen and tom hanks. Also, the title Bolt doesn’t resonate with audiences well so Disney should rename it Toy Story…

It’s typical Disney family fun, so yeah, I understand the complaints.
The trailer made me giggle, so I’ll give it a ago with the kid.
The pigeons reminded of the Goodfeathers from Anamaniacs.

The latest Indiana Jones movie featured the classic multi-million selling Elvis Presley version of “Hound Dog”. It did very well at the box office.

“A little Less Conversation” by Elvis in “Bolt” is not exactly nuts considering Elvis is back in vogue, as if he ever wasn’t! :-)
