When, oh when, will Walker and Reeves work in a film together? They could have combines this with Point Break 2. Opportunity lost.

I like all three films. The second one when a little over the edge at the end, but I love all the cars, chases, and crashes. I mean who else is gonna put put a nissan engine into a classic mustang? I'm a big mustang fan. I own one. I though that was a lot of fun to watch.

So you take out the word "the" from the original title and it makes it a 4th film? Fast & Furious? Fuck that.

I must admit these films have always been guilty pleasures for me.

They're awful, undeniably and completely awful, total misfires on myriad levels, but the premises are always solid, I like virtually everyone involved and there's enough substance in each of them that I can take solace in what these films should've been or still could be in the hands of an estimable director.

But Vin Diesel, talk about wasted potential. His reps blew it. He needs to fire them all immediately and rebuild. Retrograding is not "career rebirth".

See for me, I actually saw fast and the furious 2 before I saw the first. I guess that explains why I like that one more but hopefully with the 4th coming out part 3 can just be long forgotten.

I think its actually a fad to hate the Fast and Furious series. Especially by people that take movies too seriously. It's ok to have a film every now and then that is a "popcorn flick". I'll be the first to say I enjoyed all three of the F&F movies. I don't think they are great by any stretch of imagination, and don't deserve to be nominated for an Oscar, but they serve their purpose... entertainment. So I'm excited for the 4th movie to come out.

I agree, the first one was actually a pretty solid flick. It also hit a niche interest at just the right time. Auto imports and tuning was in pretty popular fad back in the early 2000's with stuff like this, the Gone In 60 Seconds remake, and video games like the Need For Speed Underground series.

I don't think that type of thing is in heavy popularity right now, but I do think that many would be interested in seeing a "real" sequel to the original flick.

Ok let's see, these actors need a hit film badly. Paul Walker will take any garbage role thrown at him, because let's face it, he can't act. Michele Rodriguez can't either, but she has that Vasquez from Aliens quality that makes her kind of hot. Her career has gone downhill ever since she was written off Lost. I can see both of them coming back for this sequel. Vin Diesel on the other hand surprises me a little. Maybe it was those awful Riddick movies, or his failed attempt at comedy? I think it started when Fast & the Furious blew up, and then he made XXX, which was a hit. That's when Diesel got too big for himself. He turned down Furious 2 & XXX2, which basically killed that series. He wanted to do Riddick films, which were basically bad Sci-Fi channel fertilizer. Then he thought he was going to branch out, and sing and dance or something. The bottom line is that Vin Diesel can't really act like anything else but Vin Diesel. And that method has worked out for alot of big time actors, namely Stallone, Willis, Schwarzenegger, and Cruise. But people like Vin Diesel, and he should take that to the bank, instead of trying to be this multi-dimensional actor, and fail repeatedly. Like Paul Walker said, "It's not Shakespeare." Vin Diesel may finally be wising up, but it may be too late.
