Lovely overview, many of which I have in one form or another as bit or piece from the babe's toys or an errant eBay extra (HAD to have the Wall-E cling for the cubicle). Still, the work doesn't seem to fit the source, as in nothing in the original could reflect, derive or become the way the illustrations depict. It's good stuff no doubt but not as an extension of the film imagery. Is this some sort of tomatoe/tomato experience or am I really missing something, like the quality of the brushstroke or something equally subtle? Seriously, I'll give you my Wall-E postcards of this imagery if you can help me understand why it's good (no doubt there's plenty of the Incredibles stuff rumbling around in the babe's toyland). Oh, can you stand the wait for 06.27.08?!

wow, nice post man. love tan's stuff, saw some of it at comic con.

i love how pixar appreciates classic design in the 50's, that was my favorite era of design in terms of over all animation/marketing.
